It’s crazy how much he’s changed over the years. I’m going to miss him so much 😩

All Fitz ever wanted was to be good enough, for his father, for SHIELD, for Jemma, but he was constantly weighed down by betrayal and his mistakes. The thing is, he was always good enough, and he is probably a great father to Alya and husband to Jemma. He is a legend.

Ian portrayed this character so well. They both evolved over time

To Fitz: You started out quiet and pasty Pining over a girl who made a sandwich tasty You never complained Very innocent You were stuck at the bottom But found a way up In exchange to save the girl you love You saved her and she saved you Then left when she hurt you You tried to hide, the pain you felt But those high walls were already built She came back Along with your feelings Never really left But there was a rift Different views Leaving and coming back Words deceive you And the lies come out You became tough when your love was taken You became hardened Then she came back Along with your feelings But they never really left You finally came together as one Only to be ripped apart by your own creation Became something that was you but wasn’t She showed you how to live, she showed you how to be happy But you weren’t One second you were eating The next she was gone Became 74 years since you felt like you belonged Came back, had a Union Only for that person you became to ruin it Found some light in the darkness Though he was the product of a belligerent space goon That didn’t last long They took you too soon You’re still out there all alone Cold, lonely, and missing your home Your home is her, in your bed, sharing your stories and things that aren’t said She comes back to you, and for a time things are alright, but then some chronies give you a fright Don’t know how long it’s been, but that light did shine again In the form of a little girl A perfect mix of you and her After one last fight You are able to settle down with both of your lights.

So, I've watched this three times now and you showed Fitz's character development so well. I just want to give him a big hug. I'm so glad he got his happy ending.

It's beautiful to see how much Fitz changed over all the seasons, and all the things he did for Simmons.

I'm in awe here... Fitz is a character so close to me, I got so attached to him, i can't even explain. I immensely happy that he got the happy ending that he deserves. Watching this left me so emotional, he has come a long way! Thank you for this masterpiece!

This was THE best tribute I have seen to Fitz hands down. The parallels between seasons and edits are absolutely perfect- and now I’m crying. The best 5:15 min on KZread :)
