One of the most compelling character arcs on TV. Not even joking. And I feel like a big part of the reason Fitz is so compelling is that the writers know they can throw just about anything at Iain and he will kill it _every time._

I cried so much when he died. I couldn't believe they would kill such a complex and interesting character. Then I was relieved but at the same time still mad at the writers. The finale made me feel so many various emotions and I cannot wait for Fitz to come back because Iain is such a talented actor. Also, Fitz deserves happiness that lasts more than 5 seconds.

This show just loves breaking Fitz. He died but now he’s still at space and he’s gonna be even more confused and broken when he realizes and learned what happened.

Fitz really has had the most wild character arc hasn't he?

He is such a strong character! At first when i met him in Season 1 i thought he was weak but damn i was wrong! And i'm so glad and proud i was wrong! He deserves the best and i don't believe he is dead!

Ever since I started watching AoS in 2015, I have absolutely felt a lot for this man. Fitz, you are a rocket scientist. Thank you for your service to SHIELD, and to the world. And once Simmons finds you, may we meet again.

The actor playing Fitz has had some of the best stories to work from and he's been amazing. Hydra Fitz, that switch back and forth between good and bad with all the emotions that come with it was incredible to watch and was some of my favorite bits from the entire series.

New FAVORITE Fitz video!!! The last one was yours too! Fascinating look at my favorite character in aos. His journey through the series has been more compelling to watch than any on the MCU!

Okay, here’s my two cents (absolutely fantastic video though first off, as always) - I love Fitz, I think he’s the character I would most aspire to be in life. Loyal, committed to friendship and those he cares about (the scene with Daisy when she’s in quarantine makes me cry every time), funny, determined, intelligent... the list goes on. But this last series I’ve struggled relating that image of Fitz with the on-screen character. I could not stand by his decisions as he tore down everything I had loved him for. As a result, the role is exceptionally well-written and acted, as I find myself begging that he finds his way out of this evil persona. I’m theorising how he can move past the Framework, Aida and now Daisy to be the person he once was, and with Coulson, one of his role models (seemingly) gone too. He’s incredibly complex, the one character I’ve become so close too and spent so much energy on, and I cannot wait for them to find him in space because ANY TIME WITHOUT FITZ IS TOO MUCH TIME! ... Thanks again!

This is the best Agents Of SHIELD edit I've seen. Fitz is definitely my favourite character in this series, and The Doctor is hands down my favourite villain in the MCU.

Iain and Elizabeth are FitzSimmons in the same way RDJ is Tony Stark. No one else could ever play those roles, it wouldn’t feel right. They were the heart and soul of the SHIELD Team the entire way through, and it’ll be strange to see them take on future roles without each other, but I have no doubt they’ll be great. And others have said it before, but Iain would make a brilliant Doctor or Master for Doctor Who.

Well done looking forward to seeing next season.

About to finish Season 3 (onto episode 22) It's actually amazing. And you were right! Though I loved Season 1 and 2, and kinda prefer the plotline of Season 1, it just keeps getting bigger and better and I love it.

Finished! (Argh S5 finale destroyed me, loved 5x14 and Season 4. The development was amazing and I love all of the characters, though I wanted more from characters like Lance and Bobbi - but this is the best show I've watched.)

He’s the character I’ve related to the most in the show he’s my favourite character he has one of the best character arc threwout season 2-5 in season 1 he was just a stock character but in the season after that he breaks and from season 2 on word he becomes a bad ass my favourite character
