  The thing is, the Doctor traveled with a lot of people. But Rose was the closest to a romantic relationship he had ever been in with a companion. He was falling in love, but he couldn't because he knew he would lose her. He wasn't ready to deal with that especially so soon after the time war. Leaving her with tentwo was the best thing he could have done for her. It was the best chance of happiness, and it was something he couldn't allow himself. And when he met River he was FORCED to face that fear of losing someone he would love. As Hozier says, "knowing that everything will end should not change our plans when we begin again". I think it's possible to be a fan of both, because they are both so important to the Doctor and to the character 's growth. And I believe he loved them both. He gave a piece of himself to Rose, and he surrendered to the eventual pain of losing someone you love for River. I think both are beautiful and important.

  I sobbed when I first watched this and yet its sooooo beautiful 😭😢 If I'm being honest it took me until the season 6 premiere to get over season 5 finale , so just over a year to recover from it.😂 Also your edits are some of the best Fitzsimmons fan edits out there. You're so talented!!!🎉🎉❤❤

  I love Fitz and Simmons so much they are my favorite fictional characters of all time and Iain and Elizabeth are amazing and so talented its unbelievable.   This is so beautiful! Ray and Neela are still my favorite pairing even after watching all of Grey’s Anatomy (I mean April and Jackson do come pretty close , though 😅). They definitely had their ups and downs, and there were times Neela treated Ray so horribly, but I’m glad she finally saw the light and got her happy ending. ❤

  I love everything about Clara. She's indeed unorthodox, she's beyond your understanding and absolutely fascinating! Everytime she said, I never ever asked you to save me, she even exceeded Dr. Who himself. The whole point of ever enjoying this show is that, getting something beyond typical, that's Dr. Who and Clara for me.
