Inspired by "Passchendaele" movie and "Battlefield 1".
The Battle of Verdun in 1916 was a protracted and brutal conflict during World War I, fought between French and German forces.
Germany sought to capture Verdun to weaken France, but the French, led by General Pétain, defended the city fiercely.
The battle featured trench warfare, heavy artillery bombardments, and massive casualties on both sides.
Despite the immense suffering, neither side achieved significant gains.
Verdun became a symbol of French resilience, and the battle had a profound impact on both nations and the overall course of the war.
It ended without clear victory, lasting ten months.

JUST WOW
nice video Pls behind the scenes video
It was a blood bath for the French but they managed to win the battle at a huge cost May every French soldier that died their rest easy.😔😔😔 Also pétain was credited for winning that battle and many called him a hero but in ww2 he was a traitor.
These animations are getting better and better

But still very good animation
Actually in 1916 the germans are now actually using the Stahlhelm helmet in the verdun campaign also in the war (Sorry if it was rude)
Hey chris this was awesome! What fps do you use? And also what editing software is used in the video?
Really good but why they using pickelhaube in 1916?
piekne
Very smooth frames, and very well done, however it is very confusing about who is where and who is attacking, and there is no backstory. Overall good tho

A cool thing you could add in, is if you can't make a trench, for a backstory you could make the French escape from a fort, eg. Fort Vaux, so it is complete chaos as the battle depicts
How did you create the drip effect on the characters?
@ChrisAnimations97

Actually, it's really simple - I was using water spray before I took every single picture
Rain effects look sick, but you should try to improve your movement. It does seem a bit clunky
It's good but they move so slow also the germans would be using the Stahlhelm since this was in 1916
Could you give me some tips I’ve liked and subscribed
Jesus man just when you think you found the main character he dies 1:02
