Lego Technic Ripsaw EV1, 8 Buggy Motors Powered by BuWizz.

Ғылым және технология

This the most powerful Lego Technic Moc i have ever made, maybe even the most powerful MOC ever made?!
The goal was to match the performance of a real EV1, I think this did the trick, This thing is so much fun to drive, it seems unstoppable! Enjoy!

I am already working on something small that I want to use in the snow (if I get lucky and we get some). For this one I want to use the 5 stud wide tracks which means the space beetween them would be about 4 studs if I use some real vehicles for scale. Quite tricky to get a good drivetrain in there. @@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 hi marxpex, thank you very much for your comment 🥰. I want it run straight from the motor without friction on the plastic lego parts. You should know what i talking too, since you yourself recommended about it and i think you right with it. I built realy cool subtractor too with buggy motors and its easy to add motors to it, i just dont want all that friction to be involved. I didnt use switches, only ir recivers and 1 remote. I tried to use that "technic four by four" sistem, and i didnt like it that much - to many problem with it, specially with fake servo motor like i did it. I use lipo 7.4v 2400 mAp and put 2 of those. Very easy to see all at the end of my clip, i zoom at all even got full instruction for it on other clip. The true is that the steering and all handle with it is realy good, it drive right the path you want with easy. My house is not that big and you can see how i control it there nicly, even on slippery floor. When i have too, like in my yelow car - i prefer to use 2 remote with deferent Channels then using switch. All under less then 1kilo. I realy happy that you saw it and like it. I will develope it little more later on. I just hope you saw the 2 minutes clip and not the 30 sec one with the switch. 🙏😎

  • @marxpeklegotechnicdesign3

    @marxpeklegotechnicdesign3

    4 жыл бұрын

    Avoid ludicrous with buggy motors. Also try to use power curves in the buwizz app. And always ease into the throttle, accelerating to fast results in a disconnect (overcurrent protection trips in the buwizz). The buggy motors have a huge inrush current at start, and 2 for 1 buwizz can be a problem if you need alot of torque. So the trick is to go easy at start then switch into fast or maybe even ludicrous, supported by powercurves and good throttle control. You can also try to put both motors on 1 port, you might loose some power, but it should prevent the disconnect.
