I think it’s common knowledge that Wendy has the vocals down. The thing that differentiates her from other main gg vocalists is how versatile her voice really is and in RV’s songs, her riffs and belts in the melodies really complete their tracks. Let me just add that her dynamics in singing is also what makes her an amazing vocalist. She knows when to go powerful with her voice, when to sing softly, breathy, head-y or chest-y, when to use falsetto and when not to, etc. She's not like other vocalists who tend to sing powerful all throughout the song to flex their vocals. Wendy can belt, yes, but she can prove herself to be an excellent singer without doing so.

my sister is a singer in a rock band. she doesn’t normally like kpop songs because she can’t understand the lyrics. she also rarely hear kpop artists with good voices (she only likes D.O.’s voice and their band covers Paramore songs so the standard for vocal ability is really high). i was watching Wendy’s IG live the other day and wendy was singing this song. my sister was staring at the video and i was nervous as to what she would say. the chorus came in and she said, “i love you already.” yes, only WENDY can do that.

She gives me those indie singer vibes. Her company needs to give her creative freedom and let her release EPs or singles, her voice is versatile and I can see her adapting to any genre synth pop, disco, soul, rnb not only to ballads PLEASE Wendy do a pop rock album that sounds bright (like paramore’s after laughter)

What the heck how does she sound even better every time she sings live??? Plus the amazing instruments in the background too! What a performance from the best vocalist in KPop!!!
