Fun fact: this is the longest Killing voice episode ever made. It was originally longer with 40 minutes but they had to cut some songs out (like Zoo, So good and Rbb) and the girls said they wanted to make a second part because of all the songs left out. Just proves how good RV's discography is!

레드벨벳 노래 쭉 들으면서 느낀 건 중독적인데 질리거나 단조로운 느낌이 없음. 짧게 유행하는 틱톡용 음악이 아니라 음악성이 정말 뛰어남. 이번 신곡도 계속 변주가 들어가는데도 튀는 부분 하나 없이 풍부한 사운드와 깊이가 참 훌륭하다. 연차 꽤 됐는데도 이제 한 3-4년차 된 거 같음.

노래 사오는건 마켓에서 물건 사는거랑 다름. 안x일처럼 거의 안(못) 고치는 경우도 있지만 SM은 거의 대부분 뜯어고침. 리듬, 멜로디, 구성, 이펙트 등등에 따라서 완전 다른 곡이 됨. ’으르렁‘ 만든 1인중 하나인 신혁도 그후 딴 그룹에 준 곡들은 잘 안되고 지금은 잘 보이지도 않음. 덤덤 만든 라이언전 처럼 계속 잘되는 경우도 있고.. 리액트투더케이 채널에 NCT 헬로퓨처 만든 문샤인 & 아드리안 인터뷰영상보면 켄지하고 같이 작업하면서 어떻게 곡을 수정해 나갔고, 같이 작업하면서 많이배웠는지 하는 내용이 잘 나옴. 지금은 대부분의 큰 기획사에서 하는 송캠프 방식이나 외국 작곡가에게 사오는거 자체가 SM에서 먼저 시도한거라 결과물을 뽑아내는 노하우가 있슴.

레벨 수록곡 유명맛집임.. 아이돌 음악도 결국 듣기 좋아야 오래 소비됨. 멤버들이 어떤 컨셉이든 소화를 잘하니까 좋은 곡이 모일 수 밖에요. 작곡가들 유튜브채널만 봐도 꼭 칭찬언급되고.. 보컬합, 개인 역량, 음색, 춤, 비주얼 빠지는게 없으니 롱런할 수 밖에 없는 그룹.

메인보컬인 웬디의 엄청난 가창력도 놀랍지만 진짜 멤버들 화음이 장난이 아니네. 슬기나 조이도 음색이 미려하고. 아이린이나 예리도 화음이나 키 포인트에서 확실히 존재감이 있네. SM 아이돌 노래에는 다 아카펠라마냥 화음과 합창을 잘 쓰는 거 같은데 특히 레드벨벳 화음이 정말 듣기 좋음.

What I like about SM groups is that the members would have distinctive voices but would still blend beautifully. Unlike groups from other companies, the members sound great individually but don't fit well, making it hard for me to enjoy their songs.

When you mentioned harmonizing, the first thing that came to my mind is ONF-beautiful beautiful around 2:20 And also make sure to check out exo- tempo, especially from 2:32 and on. 프로듀서가 누군진 몰라도 늘 신선하고 실험적인 시도를 해서 은근 괜찮은 노래가 많음

I think I have to agree (outside of the greatest vocal group ever Big Mama). Mamamoo has stronger individual voices (although Wendy is every bit a match for Solar) but I think RV uses their harmonies more often and more effectively. In fact, one of the sad things about Mamamoo is we didn't get a lot of close harmony in their Killing Voice. As far as boy groups, don't make me choose between Exo and BTOB.

The only kpop group where I would pay thousands of dollars to attend their concert. The quality in production, aesthetic, but most importantly, their voice. It’s an art form. I’m not just into them as pop idols, I am witnessing the greatest of the greatest.

One of the greatest kpop groups ever. 34 minute long KV is proof. They have an incredible array of songs, they're versatile and talented and everyone has top notch visuals and can sing well. Whether it be SNSD style ballads, TWICE style upbeat bops or Wondergirls style R&B, RV has it all. Red Velvet is as legit as they come

RV is just crazy especially Wendy what the hell girl just never fails to impress me with them vocals 😭 Yeri and her voice killing those harmonies! Seulgi with her amazing adlibs, she never miss 😤 Joy's honey vocal is everything, i could listen to it all day. Irene's voice is so sweet and her improvement is awesome. I'm proud of our leader-nim. I'm so proud of Red Velvet. Hands down to the best Killing Voice yet!! ❤

진짜 지금 활동하는 모든 걸그룹 중에 수록곡 퀄리티가 제일 높은 것 같다... 그걸 30분동안 라이브로 씹어먹는 멤버들 실력도 최고라는 건 두말할 필요가 없음❤

웬디는 뭐 말할것도 없이 진짜 잘 부르고 슬기,조이는 잘 부르면서 동시에 음색개성이 너무 좋고 아이린,예리도 탄탄하게 잘한다

얘네는 음도 좋지만 딕션이 너무 정확하고 좋음

어마어마하게 많이 불렀는데도 타이틀만 따져도 아직 루키, 음파음파, RBB, 파워업, birthday도 없음ㅠㅠ 진짜 10년의 위엄...

같은 세대를 지나 고연차된 사람들의 라이브를 보면 종종 감동이 있다,, 생각보다 많이 성장하고 많이 준비되어 있는 그들을 마주할때.. 당연히 쉽지 않은 시간들이었겠지만, 원래도 재능이 있는 사람들이었겠지만 수많은 연습들과 경험, 노력들이 차곡차곡 몇년이 쌓여 빛나는 결과들이 고스란히 뿜뿜 뿜어져나올때.. 나역시도 이들처럼 내자리에서 열심히 해야겠다는 동기부여와 열심히 노력한 나의 하루가 위로가 되는것같기도 하고.. 진짜 누구 하나 빠짐없이 각자만의 색깔로 잘하는듯.. 너무 노래 감사합니다 팬덤은 아니지만 응원합니다 언니들!! 행복하길

진짜 너무 공감.. 연차 쌓아가는 그룹 보면 시간이 이렇게나 빨리지나가나 아쉬운 생각도 들지만 그만큼 그 그룹도 성장하고 나도 그전보다 조금이라도 발전했다는게 느껴지는거 같아요 그래도 그룹이던 저 자신이건 영원할거같은 전성기를 즐기던 그 순간이 그리워지는건 어쩔 수 없나봅니다😂

They used pitch correction in the post production which is why they sound so perfectly stable (although they're already super stable without pitch correction!)

It happens, but Red Velvet still sound amazing as do Taeyeon and Mamamoo. I hate people always trying to downplay the skills of Red Velvet.

Dingo music is very open about their use of pitch correction, there is no shame in it and I even said they are super stable even with no pitch correction. Learn to read before you come for me.

They have the cleanest vocals as a group. Can’t believe it’s almost a decade since they debuted, spend my 20s with them 😭
