@@Loviee1481 tbh SM didnt promote her to be a soloist singer. Wendy has a lot of potential as a soloist singer. I actually think she can be more successful both internationally and in Korea if she was promoted well but SM thought 1 ost or 1 sm station song per year was enough promotion for her.

SM really did Wendy dirty on her solo promos. This gem here needs to continue singing!

NGL I have seen some idols who are scared of the mic and live singing. But most KPOP fans are after visuals only and they don’t appreciate the real singers.

Jeongwoo's reaction says it all. Wendy is really one of the best vocalists in KPOP.

나는 웬디가 아주아주 오래전에 한 프로그램의 패널로 나왔다가 필리핀 소녀와 노래를 부르면서 눈물을 보였던 일을 기억하고 있어요.. 필리핀 소녀가 노래를 너무 잘했고 되게 큰 울림을 주었는데 그 노래에 자기의 실력이 미치지 못했다는 것을 느꼈는지 노래가 끝나고 자책하는 듯한 눈물을 보였거든요. 그때 웬지 앞으로 엄청 성장하겠구나... 생각하면서 웬디를 응원했었어요. 열성팬은 아니지만 ㅎ 꾸준히 솔로곡 들도 찾아듣고 있답니다. 멋져요 웬디!

she is crazy for that vocals 😌. Wendy is on top of the game with the vocals she has!

Wendy is undeniably a talented vocalist, and this performance left me speechless. Made me sad when there are people / fans saying that vocals don’t matter for idols… when in-fact it should be a fundamental talent an idol should posses. Visuals fade, and performance stamina wavers in time, but vocal maturity and techniques get better over time… and marathons an idol’s longevity in the music industry.

Hearing Wendy's vocals never ever ever gets old - because she is always new. How can she continually be improving upon perfection? It's always a fresh emotional performance, with new details and refinement. When he said that it was like a movie or a novel, and the changing emotional expression focused him in that is such a GREAT way of describing how transformative it is experiencing Wendy's performance. I'm so happy she is on this program.

In the past I rarely listened to K-pop cos I used to have this opinion that all Kpop idols are not good vocalists, they are more of visuals and dancers aka lip synchronizer until I found Wendy and Taeyeon. After listening to their songs, I became a fan. Now I know not every popular idols are good vocals but there are real singers like Wendy and Taeyeon in k-pop.
