Gotta put this into perspective. Zep was THEE biggest band at the time when this was captured, yet there's no smoke, no pyrotechnics, no synchronized lighting, no gigantic HD displays. Nothing but unadulterated, raw, and pure rock and roll.

Hi Jamal! I’m Linda, almost 65 and loving the way you are keeping the four decade’s of music before the 21st Century alive. I have to admit I used to follow the Twins and sometimes TooSushi, but you’ve really captured my attention. You know when not to interrupt in a song, you do work on the history of the song so you know the history of what you’re reacting to. You are the only one who does that and it adds so much! I’m a little tech challenged so I don’t know if you’ll even see this. Just wanted you to know how much this old lady loves your channel and your vibe. I’d make a request but I know you have so many and this probably isn’t the right place to request one. In any case thank you for making me smile!

Jamel, this video clip is from their 1979 performance at the Knebworth Festival Aug. 11, 1979. There were an estimated 250,000 in attendance. They played for almost 3 hours non-stop, all their biggest songs, without as much as a bathroom break!!! When they were done Jimmy Page’s shirt went from light blue to dark blue being soaked from sweat. The reason the sound is off is because this is not a professional recording. It’s from the house sound system for the festival which is like a one speaker squeaker lol.

Deep Purple in 1972 and 1974 and Led Zeppelin in 1973 and 1975. 4 of the greatest ass kicking concerts you'll ever see. To be there and listen to the volume. For 1975 Zeppelin we sat behind the stage looking down on top of the band, at the Richfield Coliseum in Cleveland Ohio. They played 3 hours, no warm up band, and when we left, we couldn't hear anything but a buzz in our heads for an hour LOLOLOL Of course we were ripped too! Saw alot of great concerts back in the day in Cleveland at the World Series of Rock shows, they'd go all day and into the next morning with over a 100, 000 people pack into the old stadium! Great time! Keep up the great reactions!

I’ve seen Robert Plant 3 times! Watch him with his group The Sensational Spaceshifters! They were together for 20 years. Robert is a musical genius! Listen to “ Carry Fire” It is from 2018. Robert still does Led Zeppelin songs at his concerts, well before Covid that is! Hopefully he will be back to WoW us once more🙏

With Led Zep always listen to the studio version first and then any live performances that are available.

Wasn't at that show, but I saw them in '77 in Oakland when I was sixteen and had never been to the big city before.

I've been a rocker for 50 years and there are a lot of GOATs but THE GOAT IMHO is Led Zepp. I am Hinney J. Thomplinson and I approve this message. RIP John Henry Bonham.

If you are a Zep fan, try watching the Celebration Day concert. 2015 with Johns son Jason on drums. Probably the last time they play together. The set starts out with Black Dog and they frigging kill it! You won't be disappointed.

Forum 1976, 11th row center stage. They were incredible. First time I saw a laser light show in Bonham’s duel with Keith Moon.

From their salutary last performances in Knebworth, Hertfordshire, in 1979. Jimmy and Robert would be reunited at Knebworth in 1990, with Page guesting on this number alongside Plant's backing band. As an opener it's very much a statement of intent and may even be what people think of as a typical Led Zeppelin number - even though we know there's no such thing.

I saw them in 1975 & 1977. In 75 Rock & Roll was the opening song. In 77 it was in the encore just before Trampled Underfoot. Trampled Underfoot would be a great next LZ reaction.
