Back in the day ....when all we had on the radio was "AM" stations .... this was the most requested song in the history of rock ! We lived in the good old days !!

My wife and I will.be married 48 years on October 21. We are deeply in love. The Lord looks over us. Amen.

First song i played on my guitar for a girl i had just met, and less than a month later we married. And guess what, we're still together in June 2022. By the Grace of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. July21st will be 47 yrs. We hope to see you all in Heaven

This was one of my first CDs. This and Gems by Aerosmith

Probably no guitarist in history has ever had the privilege of playing a better riff than that.it must be the ultimate pinnacle of what all guitarists aspire to.

His playing on HotDog is amazing too! I watch the video over & over to watch his fingers fly! And cuz it jams and tickles me to no end that the mighty Zeppelin did that song! But seriously, that's some hard music to play & he does it with the finesse & greatness he plays every song! Gifted genius!

Nothing will ever compare to this version but Dolly does a bluegrass version that I really like.

Oh,one more thing i should have said in my comment yesterday. Beware the worldly religious crowd who will say , you need to cut your long hair and stop listening to The Beatles and all that kind of music.Well i did for awhile. Then it was like Jesus somehow let me know that it was't the length of my hair or the music i loved, it was my heart, my unbelief in him. It's like he was saying you just be you, don't worry about what everyone else says or thinks about you. Friends you don't have to stop enjoying the soundtrack of your youth and life since then. Enjoy the things of God and the good things of Earth. Jesus is the only stair-WAY to Heaven.

This is a true story… I was born intuitive and both see and hear. I was in meditation one day and it occurred to me for some reason to “apologize” to god for spending a lot of time watching Top Model. I thought it was a frivolous way to spend my time and not serious enough. Right back in my head Spirit said “Beauty softens the world”.

I was 5 years old when this record was released, and fortunately it was just another 8 years before i was tuned to Led Zeppelin. I turn 56 soon.

I was a d.j. on a fm station back in the zep days. we would keep a copy of stairway cued up in 1 of the cart machines in cause we had to make a lil boys run to the bathroom (Due to the Total time of the cut.). It got played so much (not just for that bath room runs BUT becuase it soooooooooooo great of a song ..Live on Zep! Many Great Memories....

Best fucking version. Been looking everywhere omg. Like the volume at the beginning is so low for the other ones. Yes I understand it's going from slow/low to fast/high or something similar, but I can barely hear anything in the begging part for most of them. This one is the perfect one! Thank you! The 4k one or wtv was close but it was still a bit too quiet. This one did it best. The 8D one was more for people who have a really good surround sound setup/headset. But I feel like surround sound is mainly good for gaming like hearing footsteps in call of duty, rather than for music. It just felt weird. My opinion anyway. But yeah.
