I wish I could share what I feel when I hear this song. It literally creates a ” rabbit hole" in my reality. It's like a sensation of time travel. Ironically it's the only song I can play on a piano with both hands and I cannot even tell you who taught me to play it or how old I was but I've been able to as long as I can remember. Even with my eyes closed. Lol Only after 50+ years of listening and Awakening to this whole new weird world that I hear it differently and the words have such a profound meaning to me now. There must be a reason I know how to play it and hear it this way. Still trying to find what that meaning is. Lol Spiritual without a doubt! Could be God just confirming my weirdness 😂

I think it was put together with two improvised takes. But it's really all about the feel. Learning the notes is the easy part. It shows that a great solo doesn't have to be complicated. Having the right touch and making people feel it when you play it is the hard part . This is coming from someone who worked more on technique than feel for way too long.
