Sometimes lower seeds get hot or injuries.
I agree that Nikola Jokic is definitely not a fraud, he just played a series where his primary help options didn't show up against a team that was just hungrier than they were. I will say that if the Denver Nuggets face any adversity narratively/media wise, it's probably because of Mike Malone's comments and nature. Last year during the trade deadline when the Nuggets were called losers because they didn't make any trade moves, that stigma continued to the WCF when Mike Malone dissed the Lakers with his "national narrative" quote. That quote rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, so when the Nuggets lost in an upset and Mike Malone was being a sore loser in the post-game interview, I think the majority of the Nuggets scrutiny will be because of him.

SWISH is heated he started his signoff then went of for another 10 sec lmao , great video
Honestly people on the internet don't even like sports they just like that they can hate on something or someone
Seeing superstars go to the finals over and over again is normal throughout the history of the league. As you admit yourself, rotating different champions is what's out of the norm. But I do agree with you, we need to appreciate the now a little more and this era might be a good thing after watching Lebron and KD try to manufacture their legacies.
Swishout is my favoeite channel because his basketball IQ is crazy and his takes are always fair and free of hyperbole. He needs to be on TV!
this dude seriously called lebron one man army 🤣 bro all hos rings came with collusion and opportunistic team switching, teaming up with other superstars

Yes he was a one man army, you're going off of name rather than what they produced. It's funny that ppl clown lebrons 2011 performance but say he had so much help to win his ring in 2013 when d Wade actually played worse in 2013 than lebron did in 2011 and ppl forget how much lebron carried in that championship run. Averaged 25 that entire playoffs while the other 2 stars averaged 15 and 12 respectively

As much as people love parity and claim that's what they want, ultimately the NBA is at its most popular when there's one or two dominant teams. The NBA was at its peak when MJ and the Bulls were above everyone else, and that level of popularity has only been matched when one player/team transcends and creates a dynasty, Kobe, Lebron, Steph, etc.
It's crazy hearing people no longer talk about number of rings, and talk about number of finals appearances. People couldn't understand how good Lebron is and was. Watch young AAU Lebron, man looked legitimately hungry. Like he was legit playing for his life
The goat uploaded 🐐 just got home too😂
Its not just lebron hate however he might be the most hated top 10 player all time. Insanely high standards but the fact that his standards are so high should show how damn good he is. You know how hard it is to make it to the finals let alone do it out of high school? 8 straight nba finals is unheard of and an absolute accomplishment. I am excited for the next generation its just so sad to see hate blind people so much from such a phenomenal career. This is the harshest generation with almost insane levels of perfection expected from players
Holy the Jokic Tim Duncan comparison is actually insane, that’s mindblowing
I’m glad someone finally said it!
I feel like Jokic would be like Tim Duncan. He didn’t make the finals every year but got there and won a couple with a lot of parody in a league after the laker dynasty. Right now It’s hard to see someone else like LeBron really make it every year. He was so great
Been saying it for years mj retiring in 93 and 98 made him untouchable and gave him one of the luckiest careers ever. Because he would have lost more years but instead now he has this aura that he never lost and is unbeatable which is not true and unfair

Y'all asking for this. Every star player got roasted if he doesn't win, why not Jokic? We don't have a dinasty since GS, we all witnessing an incredibly talented wave of players, winning it's hard, you have to get in the Playoffs healthy, with a good team+ coaching, facing the right matchup. Happened to LA in the bubble,to the Bucks,to GS and to the Nuggets last year. Bron got roasted for LA exit, Embiid get roasted every year for the Sixers coming short, even Giannis got some critiques for the Bucks failure. If there no excuses for them, then Jokic doesn't deserve too.

@@boogiefrmda4578 When you are the face of the league you are more than an athlete … Mohamed Ali, Bill Russel, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, MJ, Shaq, Kobe… They were all more than athlete, some fought for their rights, some inspired the average Joe like you and me with their mentality and some helped their community like Lebron. So it has nothing to do with their legacy on the court, but it’s a part of their legacy as a human, MJ was the most marketable player ever, sold millions of shoes and was one of the most famous human on earth, and he was also a gambling addict .. That’s a part of his legacy, just like Lebron being called « The Chosen one », with extremely high expectations and the pressure that come with it because of his insane level since he was like 14-15, or being called « The King » because James is his name, just like the king james bible .. Or playing at a high level for so many years that he could not only play with his son, but win a title as the 1st or 2nd option with his son .. Or what about the fact that he built a school for poor childrens in his hometown ? That’s part of his legacy, being a good person is part of your legacy, even if you are the GOAT like John Jones in MMA/UFC, a lot of people will hate you if you are a bad person or you do bad things, and being a Cocaine head, crashing into a pregnant woman car ect is part of John Jones legacy 🤷🏾♂️
Great video bro. Jokic is a great player and the Nuggets are a great team. Minnesota just put the clamps on them and this was their year. Denver’s role players had a bad game 7 while everyone on the wolves went above and beyond what was expected on both ends of the floor. The only negative was ants offense but they doubled him every time so I can’t even really criticize that all that much.
Unrelated but the instrumentals in the background always nice 🔥
When Bron retire hopefully people will open there eyes and realize he was the exception not the standard
Lebron would have had more Championchips in that Timespan if KD never went to Golden State!!!
It's all those media outlets and youtubers pushing narratives because it sells. They get views, they keep things interesting but they don't care if they're bashing great players or other human beings in general. They don't care about being fair. They want views and they'll do anything to get them. Respect for telling the truth. Most people can't even begin to figure it out for themselves, they just follow like sheep.

excellent video. i wish media figureheads werent always perfectionists when it comes to basketball. no player is perfect. no player will ever be perfect. everything is relative. lets enjoy greatness when it occurs in front of us

Not for me, Jokic is never going to be in goat conversations, neither is KD. Hakeem lost in the first round half of his career in Houston, Shaq got swept 6 times, Moses got 3 MVPs and one championship that he had to join another MVP to get, nothing wrong with the ranking players appropriately
I still think fondly about the Game of Zones episode of the Red Wedding where everyone comes to the realisation that no matter what LeBron inevitably wins the East every year.
Love your talking points bro! Hard to disagree with a lot of your views
