Ironically, when Dwayne Wade was 34, he expected an extension with the Heat and Pat Riley didn't give it to him because he wanted financial flexibility for the future. While Jimmy Butler clearly deserves an extension for doing everything he can with the Heat's minimal pieces, Pat Riley may just undercut him the same way he did with Dwayne Wade.

@@CrackerReacts4 No, it was a good decision to not get Dame. Trade away their future star in Tyler Herro and other valuable role players which the heat rely on for their playoff success for an overpaid star who is a defensive cone and has been shown on the Bucks to not be a star when playing with a real team? Miami made the right choice in not trading for Lilard. The Bucks meanwhile have ruined their future, just like the Suns. Their guards prior to trading them away helped in defense immensely, especially since Brook Lopez is too old and slow now. Giannis cannot guard all 5 men by himself. When will people learn that basketball is more than just offense and scoring points? That the opponent scoring less means that you have to score less to beat them, let alone flog them? Look at the wolves. Also, before you presume my age, I was unfortunately too young to watch Jordan ever play. What Miami needs is yes a star, but someone who can defend as well, not just score 40 and then give away 50.

Which then cause them to rush with the westbrook trade which killed their depth including KCP and Kuzma who were crucial as well as losing pieces during the offseason like rondo, dwight, mcgee. The three of rondo dwight and mcgee were so goddamn inportant for that lakers defense as dwight and mcgee arr physical players that can push around and make someone like jokic uncomfortable

Definitely Jalen Brunson because with all those injuries and they're one game away from the conference finals is crazy

Other than this year, I think the Jimmy Butler era of the Heat was a success. Just didn't close in the end but they had some good chances.

Jimmy has been carrying the entire team every year, I genuinely think they'd have 2-3 rings if they just traded for another star, it's basically just Jimmy, and a lot of people would say Jimmy isn't a superstar

I think you are right about that swish the LeBron James and Anthony Davis duo in maximizing them is tough particularly with a lot of young teams that are only going to get better.🏀💯

Before I put this video on, I just wanna say Swish… we (Heat) gotta trade Tyler Herro for Myles Turner and TJ Mcconnell… and sign Drummond or Dwight (if he can still defend)… I promise you it’ll make a difference… I think one thing this playoffs reminded us is how VALUABLE role players are man. It takes a team to win a championship, not just big names

It does take a team not just big names. With that being said the Heat's offence looks like a pile of shit and these guys aren't going to change that. Also I don't expect Jimmy is ever going to play with TJ.

The Timberwolves have been the biggest surprise in the playoffs. Even if they lose the Nuggets, the fact they took them to 7 games is insane

Imagine SGA could have been the future cornerstone franchise player for the Clippers, but instead OKC got the good end of the bargain and unleashed his full potential... Also funny enough that Rondo was with the Clippers but still they failed, and worst of all DeAndre Jordan a former player for them got a ring before the entire Clipper franchise does.
