I feel lik wemby is going to be a Yao ming but healthier. Hear me out, so I feel like the way wemby is right now is going to be more or less how he is for the rest of his career noting both injuries and production. There just isn’t enough reason for wemby to become some 30/10/5/5/2 type player, just why would he need that if he’s contributing so much already? At most on a good night if wemby is scoring 25 with 5 blocks it’s more than enough for any team scoring and defensive wise to win a game (a solid team at least, not a bad one like the spurs rn). So I feel like wemby is gonna be a 25/10/5, probably 3-4blks and a defensive force just not a high volume scorer like ppl expect him to be.

He's a way better rebounder than Yao, his career high was 8 in an era where rebounds were closer to the rim. Wemby also takes a TON of shots and he's gonna take more going forward, he had a 33% usage rate in comparison that's higher than BOTH of Duncans mvp years. He's gonna improve his 3pt shot and start launching more when he is good it's not out of the realm of possibility that he's gonna shoot 8 a game in a few years and get close to 40%

A lot of fans (bulls fans or not) are going to say that the trade for Vucevic was the worst thing this front office did instead trying to rebuild....but no; it was signing Lonzo (BTW we got fined and lost a future draft for tampering) I really hope he's able to play basketball again, but man we didn't need to sign an injury-prone player on this team.

He didn’t have a lot of injury red flags when he came to the bulls from LA. He just started falling apart. His build was nothing to worry about and it’s not like he had a troubled history. It’s just bad luck for the bulls regarding how Lonzo turned out

  • @UltimateMK22

@wg5331 My guy; here is Lonzo's total games played 52, 47 (for LA) 63, 55 (for NO), and 35 (for Chi) if the NBA SAID THAT 65 GAMES WAS A MINIMUM TO QUALIFY FOR A "HEALTHY SEASON" then Lonzo is a Injury-prone player. Both him and LaMelo look great as players on paper, but they can't stay healthy.

But I think Melo is the next Steph.. When he DOES play… Man can you SEE why he’s a worthy risk even if he doesn’t pan out.. ESPECIALLY with Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges back he won’t be FORCED into dropping 30+ each night.. I think bro could bounce back and be healthy and REALLY show he’s not a fluke as the one time the hornets have been above 500. WAS when he played most games in the season..

3:32 this take isn’t it. When lamelo plays he’s one of the most effective players win he’s on the court and to slick hate on em bc he’s had fluck injuries is weak. He isn’t having career affecting injuries and has been unlucky. They were a playoff team when he was healthy the last two down seasons started w team injuries, bridges suspension coming into this season, terry injury, snd Hayward being a bad contract when melo was playing and then him getting hurt. The hornets will make a jump to the playoffs next year bc it’ll be a start to a season where they are fully prepared.

The lamelo take is incredibly short sided. Imagine saying you couldn’t build around curry bc the first few years of his career he was injury prone. We not judging a sub 22 year old former all star and not labeling him as not worthy to build around bc of a couple seasons. Simple.

Clipper hater, this was even before Harden.. he’s actually looked great the last stretch of games when we went 8-1 but no one’s talking about that. And that was literally at the end of the season

Lamelo would've played this year if the Hornets were good and his brother will be healthy next year ijs

Hornets should build around Miller. LaMelo is a waste of time & money.

Before Jordan, players didn't really train like LBJ. Doing coke and partying. NBA really didn't even become a thing until late 80's and cable tv. I used to watch all away games for Lakers & clippers (home too) for free on tv.
