Yip I think now we are in a state of weirdness... Seems like we are just going on a little holiday in the caravan. I think hoping on the plane will feel a little crazy. Can't wait.

Cheers bro ... took awhile to put this one together was a rough week but looking forward to it all.

I felt sad watching the kids pack their lives into three bins but what an adventure awaits them and you. As you said in a previous video, you only get to enjoy time with kids for a finite time, they grow so fast and before long they won't want to be spending time with you. Same for my two younger grandsons, we plan to fit lots of adventures in while it's still cool to hang out with us!

Yea they say now they never want to move out of home and they will always come camping with us... let's wait and see... we'd always love that but I remember loving my independence from my parents as I got older... jades watching me write this telling me I'm wrong 😆 🤣 😂

It's bitter sweet for sure Shelley... It's so not the stuff or the house, that makes us sad it's our kids... Their little trusting hearts that Mum and Dad might, know what they are talking about and it will hopefully be fun... It's sure is going to be an amazing adventure.

safe journeys wherever thee may roam - the trip to the USA will be a kind of bridge to the life you will be returning too. I look forward to these next 2 chapters and the continuing chapters that unfold. ...

Yea same. A couple of good chapters in the book of life a head for sure... really looking forward to it all... I'm glad we get to share it with you lot.

So hard to say goodbye to the place your kids called home; Makes us emotional just thinking about it. We look forward to watching your next chapter. So many memories! Also great choice of music at the beginning we love the song.

Wow emotional video, I feel your pain of leaving your house. I’m am looking forward to the episode when you say “Yep this is awesome, we made the right choice”. Big hugs to the whole family. Yea we've talked about it the last couple days, it's totally the kids which has made it hard. They have so much trust that mum and dad know what's best and despite their sadness they've done everything like troopers. Can't wait to travel with them.

@@leopardsgowild I totally get that. Our family moved from Auckland to Rotorua then back to Auckland then down to Christchurch. A lot houses and new people and a lot of fun. That trust shows what amazing parents you are and the bond you have with those kids. Moments like this are hard and as they say it’s all learning but They will get through it from your amazing ness. Such a special time and moment in your lives with supportive friends.

U guys r Great!!! Long as u guys have each other it doesn't matter there y'all go✌️👍🤙

Yea I had to keep reminding myself to get the camera out... lots of old videos to drag out of the wood works.

You guys are going to have so many amazing adventures in the USA and travelling around NZ when you come back. I look forward to seeing your USA videos - I can’t wait to get back there (hopefully this Christmas). You’ve given us lots of tips on places to visit in Rotorua now we have a place here. I took David for a walk at Okere Falls on the small loop circuit we didn’t realise was there until you mentioned it in a video. And we’ve done the Holden Bay sunset a few times - magic! Happy travels!

YEA, it's a bit bittersweet aye. it's nice to be back in the caravan tonight after a weekend in Napier. Let the adventures begin, we are heading to the beach for a week before we fly out... I think it will be nice to have a bit of a break away before we fly out.

Well done guys. Can't believe it's nearly a year since I did that too. Actually I think it's healthy to have a good clear out from time to time. I so remember feeling so pleased with myself, thinking I'd got down to what I can take, then realising I still had WAY too much. And I tink I may have to do it again when I move from the caravan to the boat. So excited for you all!

Yea seriously such a lot of stuff... it's amazing how many little things you can collect... we started getting rid of stuff months ago... it will be nice one day to get dome nice comfortable and clean furniture lol.. Our stuff was all so old and worn-out

We've been on quite the adventure so far, just beginning atleast 15 months on the road around our country

Emotional for sure! Our beds are already gone and we still have 2 weeks in the house. I’m on the couch, hubby in the camper, kids on mattresses in their rooms. Our eldest is the saddest about leaving our house. He cried when we put the sold sticker up 😢

*followed you for a while now, always thought I would love do it, just pack up and travel. Watching this video brings home the reality of leaving, must be emotional. It will be all worth it.*

Yea we left all the beds and most of the draws. Just sold our one was a super king.

@@leopardsgowild My wife bought a super king cause she is Niuean and they all like to have large beds but when shes in bed I can never find her....Not that I need to ha ha.!

That was an emotional one. I’m sure you will look back on this as the start of something great. Our daughter just said as we were watching can we go full time now 😂

We were cleaning hours before leaving... we usually go away the day we are working as well. Try and finish early and go... our plans did change a little due to getting the covid as well
