Any show that has multiple people talking at once, just trying to get in a talking point, is just lame. They're designed to frustrate people and make them angry and dumber you definitely are not learning. Yet news shows keep doing it. I don't get it. These long-form interviews from people like Rubin, Rogan, Peterson. are so entertaining and refreshing.

I was once like you, a hardcore (so I thought) liberal. However, after seeing the shit people say and talk about now days on the left, I chose to become neutral. The funniest thing is, it was the shit that the Young Turks were putting out, that were pushing me to become neutral. TYT started out fine, however, they ended up trying to slander people, just because they didn't like what they said. TYT is full of hypocrites. Too many whiny people that complain about literally EVERYTHING. It's like, make up your mind. That's when I started to watch videos of Ben Shapiro (who I disliked prior, for no reason.), then I started to see that the right was more logical thinking, and would actually hear you out, rather than drown you out. Even before I became neutral, I told a person taking a survey that I was a Libertarian. That was all because the current liberals aren't really what liberals are supposed to be.

If we’re being truly honest with ourselves, these Americans claiming to be oppressed are some of the biggest perpetrators of oppression themselves. Own a cell phone - you’ve contributed to oppression of Chinese factory workers. Own many clothes in your wardrobe - you’ve contributed to the oppression of sweatshop workers. The list goes on and on if you actually take a moment to think about it. I'm black and used to be a hardcore lefty. However, I was never into identity politics and was always a patriot (I regret that I didn't choose to serve in the military was I was young enough). My parents left Haiti during the Duvalier years, so I always appreciated being an American. Seeing the left, especially The Black Left, promote the victim mentality, curse our country, insult our military, and praise corrupt regimes like Castro's Cuba, Gaddafi's Libya, Chavez's Venezuela as ideal standards of living. All that pushed me to the center. Was I thrilled when Trump was elected? No, but I say give him a chance like I gave Obama a chance (I never voted for him and was never a fan). So far Trump has done a decent job. Would I vote for him? Probably not, but if he wins reelection, I'm not afraid. Making smart financial choices, being an entrepreneur, and secure employment makes me thrive no matter who's president. Thanks to not having a victim mentality and the opportunities this country provides. Some of these whiny black victicrats claiming that they want to leave the United States and move to Africa. Funny, many Africans are leaving for the US, Canada, Europe, and even the Middle East for a better life. Many of these African immigrants come to the United State, get educated, find a career and surpass the black people who have been here for several generations.

I am a Republican myself but even I can realise that Trump has made some bad decisions or word choices. I heard he wants to completely shut off trade with Mexico. The problem isn't with Mexico, it's the immigrants coming through there from Central America and Mexico and the cartels that run those countries. What we need to do is put more men along the border and set up cameras on the wall. We shouldn't shut off trade with Mexico because every hour goods worth one billion or more are shipped here from Mexico. We could help fund Mexico to fight off their cartels and that would eventually slow down the flow of illegal immigrants. Just please don't go around believing everything Trump says like it's the bible.

It's also like you ignored my comment about Mexican goods valued around one billion dollars being shipped into the U.S. *hourly.* Not to mention that the U.S. and Mexico have free trade which is beneficial to us. If you honestly think that shutting down the border will solve problems instead of causing them then I don't know what to say other than you're too arrogant to understand economics or complex politics. If the border is shut down and no goods are exchanged that *will* lead to more illegal immigrants coming here as the goods the U.S. sends Mexico won't be available anymore. Basically, we will be responsible for making Mexico worse. The only thing I can agree is that Trump is the best presidential candidate I've seen running for 2020 so far on the Republican side. However I've seen Joe Biden getting popular over on the Democrat side of things and the last thing I want is for a Democrat to take office and undo all the stuff Trump has done.

Grew up a Democrat, lower middle class, was told by my parents that Democrats are good and help the middle class and poor. Once I got to college I started to pay more attention to politics and really see how my views really aligned more with conservatives. I'm now in my late 20s and my entire family has switched to Republicans. We didn't leave the Democratic party, it left us. EDIT: I'm pro fascism, voting and democracy are gay. Voting will not remove them.

Funny, I grew up a Republican, lower middle class. I was told democrats are basically good people with bad ideas lol But never was I told to hate them or discriminate against them or treat them badly. I wish I could like 1000x. A child does not choose to be conceived, a death row adult chooses to murder some one. Why should an innocent child have to die because an adult does not want to take responsibly for a decision they make. Their answer is........ I couldn't give my child up for adoption, but they can murder it, even thow the child had no say in that decision.

I appreciate the effort to call her BS, but yes, mental energy does exist. People who are depressed have very little of it and those who have zero of it have a burn-out. Maybe the constant mental gymnastics the radical leftists have to do in a vain attempt to make sense (even to themselves) takes so much energy that they have none left to debate someone.

@Asleep Awake ??? They definitely know that the climate is changing, but the amount of change is minuscule compared to what'd happen if we used an alternative, cleaner source. But let's go even further. What energy source would you use if fossil fuels were banned? It's currently way over 50% in energy source out of all the sources, because it's efficient. Banning fossil fuels would mean that we'd have to use less-efficient energy sources to power up our internet, cars, factories, cell phones, you name it. Are they giving up on finding new ways for cleaner, efficient solutions for energy? Of course not. Do you have any logical solutions for alternative energy sources and back up your thoughts with facts? You better. Do they know climate change is happening? Yes, but the media makes it sound like the Republicans are doing nothing about it. (Although that's mostly a problem for Engineers, not Political figures)

In an age where we were given the choice of two morons to vote for in the election, it quickly became evident we needed something better than the childish behavior from Trump and the parroted liberal talking points from Hillary. We needed intellectual stimulation. And that’s what we’ve gotten from Harris, Peterson, Rubin, Shapiro and Weinstein. These guys are a much needed breath of fresh air.

It might be a reflection on mainstream media's idea that small time internet journalists that are taking away views are "lazy" because they don't need a massive production team and huge budgets and a makeup crew and a teleprompter. Media is jealous that internet podcasters who are actually good, interesting people are getting support by just doing long interviews. It's less effort for sure, but certainly not lazy.

I work at a nonprofit in a very far left college town. I can't even share my opinion there because management has attempted to gaslight me. They even mandated me to therapy. I'm fine btw. If I could find a job at a conservative company I go in a heartbeat.

Same here. I consider myself Centrist because I hold some classic liberal values on gay rights, abortion and drugs, but I also find myself aligning with the right more on issues raised by mass immigration and 'hate speech' laws. I'm very pro-freedom for everything, which used to be more of a liberal position, but now it's shifted more to the right. I still think of myself as central, but my Leftist friend accused me of being 'too right wing' the other day because I think people like Dave Rubin make a lot of sense and I'm against today's authoritarian PC culture censoring everything. I just want total freedom for everyone, that's all (aside from already criminal acts like stealing or hurting people).

I find that most "centrists" or folks who are "left leaning" on social issues are actually libertarian. I believe this is perhaps because any rational person that has studied history and current events can tell that leftist fiscal ideology is a pathway to mass poverty and tyranny. Similarly, I find that most leftists that don't have any "right leanings" tend to be full blown socialists that would repeat all the terrible mistakes of the past because of their oblivious ignorance of the past, reality, and the nature of mankind.

Same here, I think what Rubin is missing though is that going from demonizing the right to demonizing the left is not much of a step. The right step is to accept that both have a group of people that are absolutely insane and want to take away your freedom and identity but that the majority of people still have good ideas as long as they are not radicalized. Saying that everything the left does is wrong is just as dangerous. You can see this by comparing the comment sections of leftist and alt-right youtube videos. They're almost exactly the same. Stay in the middle and listen to both sides.

Take the time to really examine the background on a few issues that you care about. Listen to both sides, dig up stats (be careful where you get them), and think about which party is serving the best interest of the entire population. There are so.many great podcasts now that really go deep. I think you'll see why you have to leave the Democrat party. Most of the issues that drive moderate Democrats are well covered within the modern Republican party. The fundamentalist Christian faction is dying away, thankfully - I just don't think it belongs in politics.

I was a leftist until age 40. Witnessing the unfair treatment of men in the family court system and seeing first had the violence, depravity and corruption of third world countries made me love and appreciate America and my own culture. Now, at age 50, I love western civilization and I don’t apologize for it.

I can not vote for Biden. As a democrate I am disapointed that Biden never came to Milwaukee again. Hillary dissed WI, now the same with Biden. Unbelievable. Ask your self, did he come to your state? Did Joe simply sign up for president or is he actually campaigning?
