It has been on my bucket list, but now I have made it a priority! I followed the earthquake and lave flows and worried for the country. Yes, we knew the Newbies were there before us. We have a new sense of energy returning to the Mill after this. A fresh sense of inspiration and mental clarity for the project at hand 😁💚

Just what I needed to see today!!! So many of the fan lifers I’ve watched over past 8yrs have all “settled down”… and so did I as I was caregiver for that time. What a great vacation. I had thought about hiking the loops but not driving. I like the camper van idea. Do day hikes. Hubby has some health issues now which prevents him from hiking long distances. So this would be perfect. You’ve worked so hard on your homestead. You needed this. PS you guys are so darn cute together. ❤😂🎉

Well so funny y’all went to Iceland. The Newbys also took vacation there. The only thing yall visited the same was the huge waterfall you walked behind. They of course with the boys took some different sleeping arrangements. So I got to see two different looks of Iceland. It was beautiful. Glad y’all could take a quick trip. We fell asleep in that deep moss, taking a rest off our touring bicycles. So comfortable, but it was a different location.

Happy adventuring in Iceland, so glad you're able to return for some much needed R & R. Those landscapes are picture perfectly amazing. I'm excited to see all the interesting areas in Iceland and finding the geothermal creek very inviting for a dip. I'm looking forward to seeing some framable pictures to display in your home to keep those memories alive. Keep traveling guys and bringing us along with your many adventures.

The Newby’s just had an Iceland trip as well. I now have Iceland on my bucket list! Thanks for a great video. It’s so nice that you got a chance to get away for awhile.

There are several things about Iceland that remind me of living in Kodiak, Alaska. The remoteness, that brown landscape through the long winters a very cold "spring", the weather, black sand beaches. This video is makeing me miss it even more than normal. I feel very fortunate that I got to live in such a place for a few years. And I hope I'll get to visit Iceland one day.

Me and wife drove all around Iceland in 2009. It was 14 days. We saw almost every tourist sites and more. We went counter clockwise. We started in the capitol on a 6 lane highway, 1 hour later, 2 lane road and no cars for 4 hours except ours. One day we saw the entire day, 6 cars. We loved it. 😊

I absolutely love Iceland. My boyfriend and I went last june, did the ring road, west fjords, and the golden circle. A trip I still talk about to this day. We had full sun the entire time somehow 🥰
