Thank you for this! I've been trying to figure out how to do colorful bubbles on a white background and I've been having trouble visualizing the steps. Thank you for showing me the way!

you are welcome! With white keep youe middle background color and it will look see through. takes a little finesse. I did a glass on black and white in a previous video long ago. although on glass I just used a grey shade. You may want to shade around the outides edges very very light grey to give a little round shape then a larger hot highlight. and of course get some color in. Often soap bubbles like an eye will be see through on the shadows and a little reflection of the color in front. its very common to see the photographer in the pictures reflected in the image.

@@TheAIRspace I've been toying with possibly laying down silver leaf before the paint but haven't figured out how to not end up with a harsh inner edge of the silver. I need to play with it more. Thank you for the encouragement and tips!

Definitely is a useful little technique. I wasnt very clear but sometimes ill use a shield if im working on a multicolored background and block out that part to give it that see through look... thats another tutorial for another day i guess though :)

no. and likely i will again in the future. but I really stopped doing textiles after my first year or so. I occasionally will randomly do something on fabric but not often anymore. I was debating getting my lettering skills fixed up in the near future.. which is 90 percent of t shirt work
