    Anybody who's new to jump rope exercise should start with a thick, heavy rope. I tried beginning with the same style of jump rope used in this video & it was too thin, cuts through the air too quickly & was bruising my shins because I was too heavy to jump over ot quickly enough. Try the "Mira battle" jump rope if you're having similar issues. ❤

    I have a tip! Basically make sure you keep your knees high up,and try alternating,hop on one leg,and then the other leg,and keep alternating,And then you'll get the run in place,But before you do that make sure you do the basic stuff first,like the toe flick or anything else,But just remember you got this,

    One thing about jump rope is that, these tricks come to you naturally without you even realizing. I can do all of these and even elite level tricks. and it's funny to say I didn't even try to learn them. it's all fun to me.

    I've been jumping rope for the last 4 - 5 days for the last 7 weeks now. Only trick i could've ever done was the cross and ive tried a couple double unders before but im currently on a weightloss journy from 210 hoping to get to my goal of 140lbs. I'm ordering a speedrope and a 1lb jump rope next month.

    Boxer skip traditionally is a side to side shuffle with your feet, not a front to back.

    Many! I like to side swing into my jumps, as in get the rope swinging in a rhythm so I can jump in and start my regular bounce. Also, to give my shoulders a tiny break, when I'm skipping and my shoulders are on FIRE 🔥 🤣
