Omg! Best instructions ever! I have been watching many videos but yours was the clearest to understand! My thought was, "I hope she has more because she is the only one I want to learn from going forward!" Thank you so much!!❤

THANK you so much for explaining about rotating the canvas! I had not idea why it was so important to rotate the canvases! Fabulous instructions! Again, thank you!

I like you videos very much. I was very intimidated by needlepoint but I have always admired it so much. I am going to try a simple project and get started making something for my home. Thank you for the hard work.

is it OK to use half Stitches for cross stitching? That's what my kit says and it shows the back like you showed the half stitches doing.

Thank you for your videos. Question....when returning on the next row, rather than turning the canvas to do the row, can you just go from the upper right to the lower left ? it will still angle to the same direction but not give you the half stitch in the back?

Hi Tea6852, the nice thing about needlepoint is that you can do anything you want that makes it more fun for you. I stitch a very unorthodox way (check out basketweave with Russell) and when 'real needlepointers' see how I scrunch the canvas and the fact that I dont go front to back, well, i get disciplined. When we teach we try to tell people why we suggest something this way or that. There are reasons for doing needlepoint a specific way, but if it is better, more fun, more meditative, etc etc to do it another way....by all means go for it!

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I appreciate your honesty and forthrightness regarding personal style etc. Sometimes, I get so hung up because the back is not perfect (though I try) I lose the pleasure in doing the craft. That then defeats the purpose all around. I love the videos, they are very helpful. Thank you again. Have a great day.
