What’s insane about it? All you have to do is aim dead straight and strike right below the center of the cue ball. Get a striped ball and hit it that way. It gives you a visual of how the ball is moving. It’s probably the most simple shot in pool actually.

I can't do these to save my life. Every time I try to do backspin, I end up hopping the cue ball. Topspin, I end up brushing the ball with the shaft of the cue. I am absolute trash at pool. 😔

Best way to go is holding it with whatever hand you do it with, letting it rest on the space between your thumb and finger and lifting your thumb to act as a support for aiming your shots. Been using that method for months and I've improved.

Finally someone that acknowledges that in order to not foul with the cue ball when you use top right / top left you have to actually cheat the pocket. So many pool influencers just say “TOP RIGHT”, but if you don’t cheat the pocket you will actually foul, doesn’t matter if you go top left or top right

You should clarify that you mean fouling by following the cue ball into the same pocket, resulting in a scratch. It reads like you mean somehow the shot itself is a foul.

Low left could absolutely be useful in that position.

Go to DrDaveBilliards channel. He's got all the instructional videos you'll ever need on how to develop a proper stroke. Then get out there and practice. There's no shortcut to it, you just have to develop the technique and muscle memory.

I don’t get how you direct the ball to the center even though you’re hitting it in different locations.. like if I hit the white ball on right side, it goes WAY left

Do you mean after impact with the object ball or before you impact the object ball? If you mean before that is called "squirt" and you have to adjust your aim to hit the object in the right spot to pot it. So in your example you line up the shot to make it then you decide you want to put right English on the cue you now have to change your aim point to more right of the object ball. How much right depends on how hard you have to take the shot and how much right English you are using.

I badly want to learn this useful shots. What cue tip size is suitable for these shots my cue tip size is 8mm and I only play small size table.

so do you point your que straight at the center of the que ball, then while keeping your front hand in the same position you move your backhand to hit the que ball in a different spot? or do you move both hands to keep the que in the same line?

Jump shot is done with elevated cue and using a special short cue, not with a backspin stroke

It's all in the technique and your back arm. You can draw the ball 6 inches or 6 feet, depending on how much power you put into it. Keep a loose grip on your back hand (like 2 or 3 fingers holding a baby bird and trying not to hurt it) and follow all the way through with your stroke. Nothing on your body should move during the stroke, except from your elbow to your wrist on your stroke arm. Any other body movement will severely impact your accuracy. And for God's sake, stay down on your shot!

A miss cue is when you don't fully connect with the cue ball. Either your tip slips off the cue ball and you barely hit the cue ball. Or you miss the cue ball all together. I miss cued so bad on a break once I mushroomed over one side of the tip and had to get the tip replaced.

Inside bottom almost never is useful, only in rare positions. Because you want the cue ball to run more, but with inside in this position you're making it go against the natural angle. To understand this concept you have to have some playing expirience, it's quite difficult for non player

Doesn't matter how good the chalk is. It just matters that you have some chalk on before trying these shots.

Why did you start power stroking it? You'd have gotten the result if you just kept the speed of the second stroke

Scuff your tip, chalk it properly, and develop a smooth stroke. If you're miscuing a lot, your stroke mechanics may need work. Try laying an empty beer bottle on its side and practice stroking the cue stick in and out of the opening in the bottle. Over time, this will help you stroke much straighter, allowing you to hit the cue ball more accurately.

How to make your hand so steady like that? It's really difficult to have the stability to shoot the ball😂

Because when you miss cue on backspin you end up scooping the cue ball
