This is a poor film in his filmography. You need to watch his 80's stuff to get the real JC. Before he went on to become a spokesman for the CCP.

if you know mandrin /Chinese just KZread search the video of “成龙作假” people do video to give you evidence about Jackie Chan lie,you will eventually found out " Jackie Chan never use stunt man is a lie" been lying for many years ,taking all the credit of his stunt man team , and making himself a" hero". Alot of " Jackie Chan dangerous stun" actually carry out by his stunt man behind the scene. And he even use wire for alot of scene where he himself doing less dangerous scene. Meanwhile his stunt man doing the dangerous without wire. Last time tv resolution isn't good can't see clearly the face if someone similar body side slightly similar wear the same shirt plus his whole crew help him with the " hero story" lie.. nowadays tv resolution greatly improve alot of his lie can be see through his old film. His reputation among Chinese is kinda bad + his "real life story shitty things " which if you don't know mandrin /Chinese or Cantonese you probably don't know as alot come out in news only in mandrinl/Cantonese.

I bet Jackie Chan's medical bills are crazy. The man makes things look so easy and we all know they are darn near impossible. He is a legend.

He pays a price for all of that. And the older you get, the steeper the price feels. I don’t think he has ever made a movie without sustaining at least a few injuries. I’ve seen footage of some takes that didn’t work out, and it’s miraculous that he was able to keep going to finish the film. Everyone who works with him says he’s a trooper, a machine. Very intense.

The BMG is excited but the scene shooting on saving the boy in fire is not as good as Jacky Chan doing his HK risking style of movie. Everything seems straight forwards and easy without any dangerous...
