I needed this break from life for awhile.
Please don't nit pick. A movie is meant to just be enjoyed. So what if everything isn't perfect. It's just a movie. And it's one of my favourites. 8 out of 10.😊 Thanks for posting❤

I don’t know how many times I’ve started to rant in the comments about the nitpickers, then just erased everything in disgust. Thanks for saying it for me! Too right!
The movie is very fast-paced and suspenseful. The Arctic Blast supersedes every other plot in the film. Everyone's acting is good, too.
And the "heads" closed mentality exact reason so much tragedy was preventable. This man correctly predicted the disaster and still not listening to him. Sounds like reality to me.
Hollywood film is procastinating the future, they prepare our brain for what "they" will do to us all in future 😊

That's a good point. I remember Stephen King's book The Dead Zone. In it, the hero recovers from an auto accident with psychic abilities. He touches the hand of a real estate tycoon running for president, wins the presidency, and starts WWIII. He takes action to stop his election, and the tycoon commits suicide. They made it into a TV movie. Sounds familiar, does it?

This is an excellent movie even if other people are pointing out the minor flaws. No one can possibly be perfect in all the producing of movies. I just really enjoy the suspense of these types of movie too. Thank you! 🥶🤣
All these B,C,D... grade movies are so similar. The Parents, going through divorce or tough times. With a teen age daughter who "Knows" everything, a nerd son, and or a boyfriend, and of course all the formulaic tropes of the whole "Disaster Trope" I love it...

I enjoyed the movie. My opinion is the movie was very good especially considering the lower budget that was available for production, etc... to make the movie. I gave it a thumbs up 👍 and recommended it. Thank you for sharing this movie with everyone.

so basically what would help in an emergency situation like that, a warm fizzy drink, they have tons of sugar in it? But suppose that is Hollywood. They need a little bit of drama. Waht amazes me though always, in all these -drama- films, there is never a dog or cat around. When -normally - more or less every house or household has pets..

This is an Australian and Canadian film. Nothing to do with Hollywood. Budget was only 1.8 million. I am not sure what currency that is.
So far, movies that I haven't been able to find on KZread, are finally showing up. I have two movies in mind, one is called "impact" where everything's off the ground. The other is my ultimate favorite movie called "10.5". If you release those, you'd make my day.
I've been trying to watch this movie for the past couple months. I'm glad it's back on KZread.

They also do not require too much thinking which is a great thing when you want to chill down... It's good to see Michael Shanks again, I hadn't seen him since the Stargate tv show back then... I remember the Ozone scare of the 70s. All Deodorant and hairspray etc. used propellants that ate away at the Ozone. It was after that that pump hairspray and stick and gel deodorants became a thing. But not a cold front, back then it was radiation, severe sunburns and the like. Then I joined the Army and never heard anything about that hole ever again. False call or the hole healed itself, no idea. Cheers on Hobart! You get your own disaster movie! You are in the big leagues now. Sydney, Seattle, NYC, LA, London, and Hobart! I am glad my family is in Berlin, it is almost never destroyed. Hmmm, it is daylight in Hobart, Philadelphia, London, and Moscow all at the same time. Netherlands & Rio daylight, but Hong Kong is dark. I think this movie proves the flat earth! And in Fairbanks the natives are mad they have to put their basketball shorts and flipflops away as it seems to be a wee chilly Tuesday in Northern Alaska.
Great 😊 movie 🎥🍿🎥

Thanks for the movie. I'm a disaster movie addict and have seen this one a couple of times before. It's late at night, and I was about to have a bedtime snack when this movie showed up in my KZread feed. I suddenly realized that I was in the mood for a disaster movie, even if I had seen it before, so I watched it again. I'm so addicted to disaster movies, I even watch foreign language ones, although I don't speak those languages. I've watched shows from around a dozen countries now. In spite of the language barrier, I am almost always able to follow the stories, and I like the challenge of doing so. Time to use the facilities and get ready for bed.🥱😴🛌🏻

Just think! We could hold the winter Olympics anywhere or everywhere all at once. No need to build an Olympic city or build skating rinks. All locals can compete locally. A return to the ideal of a truly amateur competition. Put on your skates everybody and let's get outside!
If all this time Hollywood had the knowledge to jump-start the ozone why did we go through 2 decades of panics and finger pointing 😂😂
I don’t mean to be critical but it is one of the silliest ideas ever. A cold front that is that cold is so contained that you can drive away from it?? It is only the frozen air that you can see that freezes you? Oh my.
