Then maybe you could explain it to me? All I got is that 'a mi', 'a ti', etc. simply puts an emphasis on what you like, i.e. "I like college football" vs. "I LIKE COLLEGE FOOTBALL". If that was it, it could have been taught in 30 seconds.

I was learning spanish from this channel about 4 years ago, I am glad to get back on my spanish journey and still find Anna doing her thing 🎉🎉🎉 I like your teaching style, thank you.

Actually talking about yourself makes us more engaged in listening otherwise lecture gets boring So thankyou for keeping up the fun

I never understood why it's me gusta instead of yo gusto. I accepted it and memorized it, but today it makes sense and I understand. Thank you!

Hablo francés como primera lengua, pero también hablo inglés/americano, pero es porque he pasado más de 12 años en EEUU y ahora 24 en Reino Unido. El inglés es estupendo, pero ahora, y no hablo políticamente sino diplomáticamente, debido a que Trump estuvo en EEUU como expresidente durante cuatro años y muchos millones de trumpistas siguen allí, así como el Brexit en Gran Bretaña (aunque esto último me gusta), el inglés va a ser sustituido en algún porcentaje ahora, dentro de algunos acuerdos internacionales y comerciales, por el español, incluso el hindi, el francés, el portugués, el ruso, el polaco y más. Rara vez me equivoco en estas predicciones. La comunidad hispanohablante en Estados Unidos crece a un ritmo de un millón de personas al año. Ahora hay 57 millones de estadounidenses, de un total de 331 millones, que entienden el español o lo utilizan como lengua principal de comunicación. Estoy aprendiendo mexicano (que conocí bien cuando vivía en el sur de California (1988-1996 y 2005-2008) y español de Costa Rica (que aprendí bastante con la diáspora costarricense en Long Island, NY, en 2003-2004), ya que me resulta más lento y fluido de hablar que el español europeo, que puede resultar abrumador en velocidad y pronunciación. También estoy aprendiendo algo de griego como última y cuarta lengua que conozco. El inglés ha sido un poco sobreutilizado durante cuatro décadas y, aunque también me encanta este idioma, es muy limitado a la hora de expresar tus sentimientos y emociones. Y, como otro hecho, bastantes personas de habla inglesa como en Gran Bretaña, por ejemplo, no siempre entienden sus propios acentos dentro de su propio país, lo que hace que su idioma, de nuevo, sea difícil de utilizar de cualquier manera. This is the best Spanish learning channel on KZread. Since I live in So Cal and go to Baja California once in a while I only need Mexican Spanish. All the others don't matter to me. Any non Mexicans from Spain,Central or South America have to learn Mexican Spanish if they come to California.

Usually your videos are easy to understand but this gave me more questions than answers and I feel like it is not complete. Can you explain in another video why "me gustas", "te gusto", "os gustamos", "me gustáis" etc? The endings are confusing to me since you only used "gusta" and "gustan".

Oh, I needed this! I understood gustar except for... "me gusta"! First-person usage was somehow not taught in my other lesson.

Thanks, this helps me to better understand when to use forms such as "a mi me gusta" and "me gusta". It's been confusing me for a while.
