Always dreamed of learning violin always loved to hear it played. I baught my first one from a women that's played it since 1976 she baught it in Japan before she came over to the states it's a beautiful Suzuki 330. Im already learning souch from this channel and I'm having fun while learning. I'm very happy to have come across your channel because your the first person I found that doesn't use advanced methods to tech beginner lessons like vibrato I was having so much trouble learning even beginner notes because every video they used vibrato.

Hi Danitsa, if you find it hard to reach the point of the bow on the G string, try moving you bow-arm further forward when you play down bow, ie from the heel to the point of the bow. So you want to try and stretch your bow arn in front of you, rather than sideways.

Hello! These are great videos and I appreciate your free help so much. I am curious about my sound though. I am just re-learning and playing on this good, old violin I got from a thrift shop. So, my E’s, A’s and D’s all have a smooth clear sound to them, when I start playing the G the sound is a bit “scratchy” and it doesn’t hold the note as well. Is that common? Is it typical for a G to not hold it’s pitch as easily? Thanks again for these lessons!
