Lean Arms & Shoulders with Dumbbells | Joanna Soh
Whether you want to show off toned shoulders and arms or simply get stronger and leaner, this class is the perfect way to get started. The technique we’ll be using is called "Superset", which means we'll be doing 2 exercises back to back with minimal rest in between. All you’ll need are 2 sets of dumbbells to hit your biceps, triceps, and shoulders!

1) Bicep Curl to Shoulder Press
2) Push-up with Rotation

1) Arnold Press
2) Upright Row

1) Tricep Press

1) Tricep Kickbacks

1) Lateral to Front Raises

I actually followed the 8-week-home-workout-plan-to-lose-weight-tone-up on repeat as best as I could from joanna you can download it for free from her website somewhere! And diet wise I started counting calories to around 1700 and ate like 20 carb 30 fat 50 protein (mainly boneless chicken breast, veggies) if i ate anything in general i just made sure its not processed food and at some point i stopped counting calories and ate just how it felt healthy! Its not easy especially in holiday seasons with family etc. haha but its ok to slip up! Id even say its mandatory to stay motivated!

@@theialx Hi there! I am also a beginner in anything that involves arm work, haha :) As I can't do pushups, I modified some parts to suit my abilities. I hope to build my strength by regular practice though.

Hi Maia! Is this lesson for men also? I am a man and I started this lesson but it was so difficult 😞I could only manage with 1 lb (half kg) dumbbells but my arms just gave up and I stopped at around the 5 minutes mark😟I wish I can be strong, muscular, and empowered!

@@rupinjeremiah9589 Hi there, I'd suggest starting slow, probably look for beginner exercises. I guess I should do the same, this one is a bit intense for me to do on a regular basis :/

is this good to get rid of flabby arms?
Does 4 days of 45min brisk walk and 2 or 3 days of skipping for 15 mins good for weight loss? Is skipping good for toning hands and shoulders?
Johanna I have doubt pls clarify this . 40 percentage of protein,30 percentage of fat and 30 percentage of carbs good for fat loss . After taking protein in 40 percentage I have nausea pls clarify this and I only do strength training. Wheather I can follow this macro nutrition for fat loss or change it
