Since this video marked the first collaboration between Fortiche (who animated the music video) and Riot Games, there's definitely some stuff they carried on over to their work on Arcane. The monkey, the scene references, even Jinx's lip bite can be seen a few times (most notably when she fights Ekko). It was such a shock when this happened in 2013, because back then video game companies didn't really do this sort of thing. It marked the first time Riot really tried to stretch their legs with something different, and now look where they're at. Fortiche also animated jems like the video "Seconds" which introduced Ekko's character as well as the very first K/DA video. You can see just how much they improved over the years by the time they did the K/DA one. All that said, glad to see you hit 1k. Here's hoping there will be many more in your future. Thanks for the reaction video.

Fun fact: Christian Linke, the show runner of Arcane wrote that song.

Yeah between Jinx's lip bite and Vi's wink from episode 8, they didn't even have to do that to us lol

Considering that this was League's first attempt at a music video, I would say it especially holds up well. Also congratz on 1k man, for Arcane related characters I would recomment "Seconds" that introduced Ekko (like this video introduced Jinx). Warwick's introduction video is also set in Zaun so could also be interesting.

Didn't know this was their first music video. they did a fantastic job! Yeah it definately still holds up well. I think my eyes just decieve me a little since i just watched Arcane, and i've never seen Jinx in these graphics before. and thank you man! you've been supporting the channel heavily lately and i appreciate it so much. i hope you'll be here for the next 1k! and bet, i'll peep the Seconds video as soon as i can.

Small details you talk about, Heimerdinger can be incredibly annoying in the game because his ability is centered around building turrets that fight for him and he just runs around as you die to them. Jinx's rocket launcher is called Fishbones. The teddy bear is meant to be an easter egg for Tibbers.

Powder bites her lip as he throws the artificial grenade at Chuck in episode 1, waiting for him to be injured. She also makes the same move when she finishes working on Hextech. It's not exclusive to Get Jinx cinematics. There are many parallels.

In the Game, Jinx is 22 which is the same age Vi is in "Arcane". In Act 1 of "Arcane", she`s within the 9-12 range(So was Mia Sinclair Jenness when she was cast as Powder) and in Act 2 and 3 she`s in the 15-19 age range which Vi and Caitlyn were in Act 1.

Before arcene jinx already villain in piltover... Season 1 her story how powder became jinx Season 2 she is the villain the jinx we are know in the game.. the jinx we know talking to a gun Fishbone rocker launcher Machine gun POW-POW yes pow pow is the name of her mini gun reference to powder

Congrats! Man on 1k subscribers. Seriously loving your Arcane reactions and driving more into the League of Legends lore, considering I'm still pretty new when it comes to the LOL lore and backstory and been trying to learn more about the world-building. Please react to more of League cinematic music videos and other vids on more of the different regions and societies of within the world of LOL.

It is said that Jinx can only sleep if there is noise around her, that's why she set up the Monkey to clap and when he stops clapping she wakes up. Oh btw, I think it was in 2015 or smth that Jinx was voted the most sexy character in league.

Congrats on 1000 Subs! Pancakes! Not sure if it's specified in the lore, but Jinx's first appearance she was mid-20's, as you watch Bridging the Rift you may get more background. Vi was about the same age. In Arcane, they combined their lore to be sisters instead of rivals, although that's arguable at this point. I feel the goal now is to blend the Arcane lore in so they can build off it in the game. I noticed it recently in the Warwick lore for LoL, Wild Rift, and soon Arcane. Long Story Short: You can simp freely for Jinx. One thing: You missed the splash at the end of the LoL credit. You should remember to watch the videos to the end to make sure you don't miss anything. One more thing: you remember from Bridging The Rift Ep 01 this was Fortiche's first foray into making a MV for Riot games, so they were not polished in form or art style yet. If you end up watching K/DA MV's or the 'Rise' MV, you will see something much closer to Arcane's style.

Small detail I don't see anyone talking about: When the song played in arcane Jinx's first words to Silco are "That's me!!!" I thought it was a clever little nod to the music video that was animated by the same studio

CONGRATZ ON 1K YOU DESERVE IT

One of Jinx`s balloons goes with her whole monkey theme because Powder was named after a species of monkeys known for being very wild and clingy in the world of Runeterra(Which is very on brand for her, especially in "Arcane"), the baboons going wild is basically a reference to Jinx`s penchant for causing chaos and mayhem anywhere she goes and also references the trope of animals having an almost supernatural ability to detect evil hence their angrily growling and clawing at Jinx to which she just sighs in boredom, showing that she`s so psychopathic at this point in her life things that would scare normies just bore her. The other is based on Ziggs, a Yordle like Heimerdinger who once lived in Piltover but was tempted to come to Zaun by Jinx where they blow stuff up together. Ziggs also convinced Jinx to be more careful not to kill humans and other living creatures which along with censorship reasons is why she is shooting robots in the music video.(Also, that`s how she sees Piltover`s rule-based society).

Easter Egg! The rhino Jinx is riding is in Arcane when the enforcer went to look for them under the bed in episode 2! Loved your reactions to the whole of season 1. The other music vids by LOL are awesome so you're gunna wanna go ahead and watch them all! Have fun! 🦏❤️

Ah yes, the Jinx we are destined to see in Arcane. All hail her crazy glory. 🙇‍♂️ We stan the crazy queen. Great reaction. So, in the game and this music video Jinx is 21. Don't sweat. We all think she's hot af in Get Jinxed. No shame. Lol Also, there's some things ya might not of noticed during the video: - One of the lyrics in the song is "let's blow this city to ashes and see what pow pow thinks". Pow-pow is both the name of her minigun and the nickname Vi calls her during their reunion scene in episode 6 of Arcane. - Jinx's original design has some pink bullets tattooed along with her clouds. Possibly some work she gets done in Arcane season 2? - She also has a bullet necklace. (I have my own theories about it. 🥺) But again, it could be foreshadowing a new cosmetic for Jinx in season 2. - Fishbones is the name of her shark rocket launcher, btw. - This cinematic was made by the same animation studio that animated Arcane.

He's missing one eye. Through the show, he talks about Jinx working on a weapon that would weaponize the core she stole. The weapon she was working on is her ult, a weapon she made for Silco. When I learned this, everything became more devastating and sad for me.. 😭 At the same time, Jinx in the game is constantly talking to her favorite weapon, the rocket launcher (fishbones). We might see the transition of Jinx's personality from her Arcane personality to her League personality in season 2. My theory is, after Silco died Powder finally embraced herself as a Jinx and she'll choose to be happy & chaotic after being so depressed after all this years. She'll become more insane but less depressed I guess?

And did you saw the dead robot Jinx dances with? one of the eye is an "x", and this is why some people referenting to Silco. So it is kind of a theory that Jinx dancing with Silcos dead body. In another shot she gives a kiss to the head of this robot so it means that this robot is meant a lot to her Congrats for the 1k ☺

There are some great music videos: the curse of the sad mummy, the KDA mvs, Rise, awaken, warriors, legends never die, take over, the call, fire to the fuse, everything goes on, phoenix, Giants and breathe (technically LoR, but still amazing). I'm still missing quite a few, but those are the videos I like the most :). Can't wait to see you react to them. And ofcourse there are the many cinematics that aren't mv's.

This Jinx iteration is more akin to her ingame model thats why she looks that way. 9:05 yea you wouldnt recognize any but just now I saw myself there is a balloon of another League champ there (Ziggs) its cool to see little easter eggs like that if you skip through it slowly. As you say in the end that you wanna go on a Music Video binge I recommend K/DA (both Popstars and MORE (Villain if you enjoy the music)), Curse of the Sad Mummy, Warriors from 2020 was cool but you wont understand anything happening because there is only League characters that you dont know, but in general if you wanna listen to more music its worth revisiting all the Worlds Songs they put out!

I have two things to say. One, KDA has animated hot girls. No, I will not elaborate. Just watch it, if only for the hotties. If you still don't like KPOP after KDA, watch "True Damage - Giants". It's Hip Hop. It's got Ekko. Number two, there's other cinematics that show off more of the characters in Arcane. So, if ya just wanna stick to Arcane centered character cinematics for now, this is a list of the ones I remember off the top of my head: Arcane Season 2 Announcement (It's a teaser for s2) WARRIORS Season 2020 Cinematic World's Show Open 2021 (how they introduced Arcane to the public) Ekko: Seconds Tales of Runeterra: Piltover & Zaun You really got me - Wild Rift Path of Champions| Jinx's Story Battle of the Bots | Gizmo's and Gadgets Launch Cinematic Welcome Aboard Odyssey (Jinx becomes a Guardian of the Galaxy) Those are the only ones I remember. If you want to stay in the region of Piltover and Zaun but maybe get a look at new characters, there's: Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun Eye of the Beast | Warwick Champion Trailer Awaken If ya wanna learn more about the lore and locations of League without playing the game, watch "Riot MMO: The World is Already Done" by Necrit. Yes, they briefly talk about the game side, but I mostly recommend it for the tour of the world and the short history behind each location. Those are all I can remember from my brain, but League is deep. Ya gotta know what your looking for if ya don't wanna drown in new content. Looking forward to KDA.

my reasoning about Jinx age take a little detour, Cait in act 1 look like she's 15, she's the most easy to guess in my opinion, in act 2 Cait and Vi look the same age which mean Vi was also 15 in act 1 and powder looks 4 years younger, so 11, then you add up the 7 years timeskip and she's +/-18, and i guess i must be right since with little research people tend to say she's around 17-19

I think you'll love the League music videos. They have so much good energy to them - a lot of pushing through and overcoming adversity to rise to greatness. My favorite one, bar none, is Phoenix. It really resonates with me right now. Still, Warriors, Legends Never Die, Rise, Awaken... they're all awesome. Even the Wild Rift, You Really Got Me is a lot of fun. I really think you should also watch the videos (not music videos) for Seconds (for our boy Ekko), A New Dawn, and the Worlds 2021 Show Open. They do some great work in those.

"Get Jinxed" was the first time Riot and Fortiche collaborated. By "Arcane" , the animation style was much more set in place.

Yo you should check out a video done by the KZread channel Schnee titled: Is jinx a hero or villain? It gives really thought provoking opinions on the overall story development of the show. Also congrats on 1k! Subscribed as well and have been enjoying the content!

My theory in on the jinx in the table with a monkey is.. you can see that the monkey represent chaotic nature and destruction.. and as you can see in the enemy the monkey is looking away from powder.. and in the get jinx the monkey is facing jinx.. it probably means that the monkey is leaving powder and go to jinx cuz power is becoming jinx she is a traumatized chaotic person now maybe that what it mean, Or im just too nerd about leagues hahahhaha

The thing you have to remember about Jinx in this video: she's older now.

I don't know how into games you are, but an alternative to playing League Riot just released a new update video about their new Tag based fighting game "Project L" (placeholder name) based on the world of Arcane and Runeterra. The game is still in the early stages of development, but Ekko and Jinx (maybe Vi too hopefully) are shown in the starting roster, and you get to see how they play in a fighting game. Would be a great video to see you react too as well! If you're going down the music rabbit hole with League, I would recommend also doing the three cinematic teasers of Awaken, Warriors (2020 version, based off the Imagine Dragons song they made for the 2014 World Championships theme), and The Call. They use music that just hits different when you watch the visuals. Also, I'm expecting another cinematic to drop for the new season coming in 2023, so there will more to watch soon-ish. Other music you may enjoy if KDA is not your style (KDA is still really well done, I'd recommend POP/STARS and MORE, but you do you): If you're in the mood for rap, try True Damage - Giants (has Ekko in it) If you like metal, try Pentakill (my recommendation is Mortal Reminder since it's their only music video, but other notable songs are Lost Chapter and Lightbringer) If you like anime-style music, try Porter Robinson - Everything Goes On (part of the Star Guardians alternate universe) Riot Games is on another level when it comes to their music.

@@KirsharReacts KDA, True Damage, and Pentakill have amazing visuals, each with a different style so it's hard to compare. It's mind-blowing how hard Riot went with their music just to sell cosmetics in the game. The cinematics though *chef's kiss*. You will probably like Warriors most since you will know some of the characters, but The Call has some of the most realistic CGI that I think I've ever seen (also has best girl imo of every champion in League, Sejuani. She's the one on the boar in the snow)

1st: you watched Arcane first then this... of course this seem "dated" 2nd: no wonder there are so many "clues" and similarities. Both were animated by the same studio. 3rd: well, since this music video take place after the 9th episode, of course she got time to be even more psychotic... also, for the same reason, we can guess that she's an adult there, so no worry about the "biting the lower lip" scene being hot

There is an interesting theory, that Jinx is unable (unwilling?) to process the concept of death, that she closes her eyes and her mind to it - much like the bridge scene in episode 1, where little Powder closes her eyes and sings a song to distract herself - in which case, when she is fighting enforcers or other enemies, she would see them simply as nameless, faceless, robots. Note, that in Arcane, Jinx could never follow through on killing Vi, Ekko, or even Sevika or Caitlyn. When she knew their names and faces, when she was looking them in the eyes, she just couldn't bring herself to kill them, even when she hated them, even when she had the opportunity. This also fits well with her preference for long-range, imprecise, and impersonal weapons - such as explosives, traps, and her minigun - weapons where she doesn't have to be close or aim directly at her target. If you look closely, the few times she actually uses her pistol in Arcane, you'll notice that she actually averts her eyes before pulling the trigger.

@@silver9wolf6 It is most noticeable in episode 7, on the bridge, when Jinx shoots an enforcer at point-blank range. I haven't seen her do it with the minigun, presumably because she just fires wildly and doesn't really think about what she's hitting, as I've said, that might be exactly why she chose a minigun as her weapon, despite being a very accurate shot with her pistol (as seen in episode 2)

Oh, you will like K/DA. You don’t need to like k-pop (I still don’t). I consider this spoiler-free info on K/DA, it’ll just help understand what’s going on: - Pop/Stars was their first single (released in 2018) and was animated by Fortiche. The music and music video are addicting and I just spent $100 on a statue of Akali in that skin… you’ll understand once you see it lol. - In 2020, they released a five-song EP. The music video for “More” is not by Fortiche but still impressive. The other songs on that EP are all like “solos to represent each K/DA member” and have a variety of video and musical styles (one is a stylized lyric video, another’s a dance concept video, others are more the typical music video style). “Villian”, “The Baddest”, and “Drum Go Bum” are all amazing and you will love them, I know it. - Not K/DA but you’ll want to add “Giants” by True Damage to your react list, both the music video and the Worlds performance (the latter which is better IMO because that 3D Holonet was put to mind-blowing use). Welcome to the rabbit hole. 😂 League the game may suck, but the content is top notch.

@@KirsharReacts well yeah the concept art was done before the game launched. But the layout/model isn't consistent between cinematics/arcane. They just capture and keep consistent the look&feel. In terms of graphics, man made structures are the easiest to reproduce in 3D too

They said jinx in arcane is just 18 But jinx in the game she is 24 above thats what NECRIT SAID this jinx is the villain of the piltover I dont know how they end the story.. because they need to kill jinx to move the story on Because for me jinx my idol never get be save like christian said in bridging the rift episode 1

In Lore, Jinx raids a zoo and vandalizes the animals, then lets all the animals out into Piltover. Also in the Lore Jinx raids one of their vaults right under Vi's nose.

Everyone seen Get Jinxed. You gotta check out Here Comes Vi. Vi didn't get a music video like her sister, but she did get a fire song.

So far I seen you really enjoy the Arcane universe and it's references and development and I wanna recommend you to watch a channel @schnee1 who does a great analize on Arcane and would be fun if you react to some of it as well. Hope you keep having lotsa fun while exploring the League universe!
