Since no one mentioned it, this was our first introduction to the new champion being added to League of Legends at the time (2013): JINX. Amazingly, Riot had decided they were going to flesh out her story in an animation only a year and a half after she debuted. That was the first whiff of Arcane. When Jinx first came out, I said: Here's my Harley Quinn crazy! She's crazy and I love it. Then I watched Arcane, and I felt so bad for her I can't look at her the same way. She's written to be broken, and so much more fleshed out than some Harley Quinn knockoff. The video was upbeat, but I am glad she is more than just superficial crazy.

Some of the champion themes are INCREDIBLE compositions (songs written for their release, often titled “champion login”). they’re more soundtrack-score like but still very worth checking out as they’re pretty short and fun! My favorites are Aphelios (somber, bassy, beautiful vocals), Jhin (the DRAMA of this piece), Fiddlesticks (horror inspired), and Kindred (piano/cello duet, very playful). There are so many good ones it’s hard to choose!!

Arcane to league : "wow so this is what she will become?" League to arcane : "so this is what happen" Jinx started as "discount harley quinn" crazy female character of league, now everyone that knows about arcane is looking at her much differently knowing there is a character behind the comparison, I like jinx way more than harley

She was actually based on Gollum, Heath Ledger`s Joker and Bellatrix Lestrange way more than Harley! People just compare her to Harley `cause they`re both crazy pale chicks with schizophrenia and codependency issues who like to blow shit up for funzies and are smarter than they act on the surface.

Our very first introduction to Jinx, and after watching Arcane, some of the scenes in this music video take on different meanings.

Lore wise riot does have a section on their site to read the lore and comics that they released some are really good others are basically he is a mountain and he found a shard of true ice and uses it to cool his beer sadly as another commenter pointed out updates to the lore or continuations take a long time and some characters are favored more so than others but those who get the red carpet have some great stories like the lux comic and Kayle and morgana's story and how it shaped modern day Damacia

Some characters like Annie actually got older so there is some character development. I remember listening to this song on repeat for hours at a time. Listening to it again gives me chills

Btw those robots are actually people, but the change was made for obvious reasons

Glad you're doing more League. Some champion themes are so good. Few themes for champions I can recommend to you are, Vi, Aphelios, Jhin, Volibear, Pantheon, Fiddlesticks.

There's a lot of lore about the league characters and regions. Bios, color story, and more. It's all on the Universe portion of their website

My sister was always a huge LOL fan, but she knew I liked making videos. When she sent me this I was really impressed and have viewed it many times since then. The energy and flow is something I have tried putting into my videos for years. I'm glad Arcane is doing so well, bc they have once again brought animation and style to a new level! They still inspire me today and I loved creating something with Arcane recently. The Animation style is truly breathtaking and I congratulate them on their success! Highly recommend the show if you have not seen it yet.

@@whatitdodave Truly amazing work they do! I've taken great inspiration Riot's trailers and other games. Cool knowing other people out there love their work as much as I do. I also recently made a video for Arcane, you might like it, I was inspired but their work and used the common artist 2WEI who Riot works with. Thanks for replying though, I enjoyed your reaction to Get Jinxed!

When you realize the reason Jinx goes "Blah blah blah blah" and maniacally cackles so much is to drown out the guilt of her past, accidentally killing her adoptive brothers ,losing two adoptive fathers, being abandoned, struck and betrayed by the big sis she looked up to and having a role in Vander being turned into Warwick by Singed it`s hard to just see her as the bad crazy girl anymore. Poor Powder!

Time to do Here Comes Vi. :)

I seen it all the first day it came out.

I still love how close this sounds to a MSI song and it's sooooo apt.

As a younger sibling with a complex relationship with my big sis Jess who`s less anti-authoritarian than I am , I definitely sympathize with Powder/Jinx`s struggle.

Some people are 1 year late to my reactions so it’s no problem, glad you are here 😀

Character development in League is a great joke. That's less me taking shots at Riot and more there being over 150 characters to keep track of. Some character go years without anything new, except maybe a skin or two, for years. Also, you know, can't really develop characters much when their established personality what draws people and they'll get mad if things change too much.
