As someone who has not yet watched Arcane, but has listened to 'Get Jinx'd' many times, when the songs goes 'And see what Papa thinks' is it referring to Silco and how Powder/Jinx sees him?

@@valashar5313 the lyric is " and see what Pow Pow thinks". Pow Pow is what Jinx named her mini gun. And her shark bazooka is named Fishbones. The grenades are called Chompers. Not to mention this video came out in 2013 way before the series came to be and Silco was created for the series. But anyways that's the great thing about music everyone gets their own story from it. You need to watch Arcane, it is an amazing show.

4:04 Just remembered that in Arcane episode 1 Mylo said something about shooting down a blimp, and Jinx instead got to have that privilege lol Also there's a blink and you miss it in Episode 2; when the Enforcer is looking for Powder and the crew, he looks under the bed. You can quickly see a toy Rhino with the same paint job as the Rhino from the Get Jinxed video. Gotta love all the little nods and Easter Eggs! :)

@Chief Millard Johnson or, by making her own robot bomb firelights, is she demanding change on her own terms, perhaps. I think of Silence of the Lambs because the moth in the mouth/throat is such a central motif of that film.

It's important to note that 'Get Jinxed' is NOT an Arcane video. it predates the show by years and doesn't intersect with the show's events.

@@lXUS Nah, those are the mindless converted humans that Victor creates with his "Glorious Revolution" Victor goes REALLY dark for a while. Have an AI define "Helping people", and it might use a far different context than you expect. Think "I, Robot" without the three laws of robotics.

10:50 it was not Ekko being beaten up, it was probably Mylo. You can see the shoulder pieces and the hair if you pause on it

Which makes it even more understandable why Mylo has such a grudge against Powder, she probably got him (accidentaly of course) in that situation and many others.

Get Jinxed came out in 2013; still looks amazing! And thanks to Arcane, RIOT did pay great attention to details and continuity, like how did Jinx ger her Unique Eyes and why she's that pale. Arcane was Jinx's beginnings, Get Jinxed is her Final Form lol

It's a cool detail how every other character gradually disappears in Enemy until it's just Powder/Jinx surrounded by a pile of bodies.

Powder turns into Jinx twice in the Enemy video First time was when the firelight left her mouth and of course the second time was with the enforcers

Get Jinxed was the first Music Video for a champion release and first work from Fortiche Studio with Riot (yess the studio that gave us ARCANE).

she looks older because Arcane is an origins story, even after the time skip on episode 4 is still behind the current lore or the present

I've always assumed the arcane series was a result of someone going to a filmmaker and asking "hey, can you turn this character into video into a miniseries and sharpen it up a bit?"

There's three different versions of Jinx/Powder. Powder Jinx/Powder Mix And Loose Cannon Jinx. The Jinx in the Get Jinxed video is full Loose Cannon, finding pleasure in chaos and destruction. This Jinx is often seen having pink eyes, because of her shimmer Injection

omg i didn't expected you reaction to this two music videos, but sure is something good to watch😍 I dont know if you watch this kind of thing, but there is a therapist that reacts to cartoons and make like analysis of the characters and she reacted to arcane and made videos to specific characters like jinx, Vi and even silco and Vander, I would love if you could react to her

Just to let you know that Arcane isn't in the same universe as the League of Legends game in the canon lore. The best way think of it is that Arcane is in a separate reality then The Leauge of Legends game in the canon lore. A lot of things in Arcane never happened in the canon lore of Leauge of Legends for example Jayce was never part of the counsel of Piltover in the lore of Leauge of Legends he was just a scientist and inventor only. Also characters like silco, Mel and her mother never existed in League of Legends lore. These were characters made specifically for Arcane.

Bullshit. They are the same universe. Lore is being changed all the time to fit as the game evolves. Also Mel, Silco exist in LoL - they are simply never mentioned, cause they are nothing but a footnote on the background of battles between demi-gods.

Some more music videos with Arcane characters: Warriors (the more recent one) has Caitlyn and Vi, and True Damage - GIANTS has (an alternate universe version of) Ekko. Ekko also has a great cinematic/short film from when he was introduced (I believe it's called Seconds).

Fun fact in arcane jinx is around 17/18 and in the get jinxed music video she's 22 so arcane is definitely a prequel series to the league of legends characters

Her age ranges to 15-18 based on the Amanda Overton tweets and Ella purnell saying “she was 9 when she was tramutized”. Amanda said Ekko is 19-20 years old and said jinx was younger than ekko.

@@Zero-ej9re They confirmed that she's an adult and that the timeskip is around 7 years which makes her 11 in act 1 and 18 in the later acts (since I doubt she's 12 in the first act).

Cool reaction, for a bit more acrane the 2021 Worlds Opening Cinematic is also completly Arcane focused and is very cool and well made, I can highly recommend u react to that aswell.

Whenever people say "riot music aint copyrighted" its mostly right, except when there is a huge licensed band like imagine dragons, cause technically is their song, so it'll have copyright, but aside from that, riot music is copyright free

Ella Purnell and Sarah Anne Williams who voice her also have ADHD in real life.

Jinx is not technically older in the show. Arcane is a prequel and this videoclip was not. How did you come to the conclusion that if the video is older, the characters represented in it are automatically younger? This Jinx is supposed to be a full grown adult and the one from Arcane is barely entering young adulthood.

Fun Fact: This was actually the visualization of the continuation ending of Arcane.

Well technically, League of Legends was made before Arcane but Arcane shows the backstories of the League champions and how they became their current crazy,heroic and/or monstrous selves.

the singer is from the band Djerv, one of the best pop punk bands that exists.

You should definetly watch "Worlds opening ceremonie 2021" for more Arcane content. Its like basically promo for series. And you could listen to "Here comes Vi" since you listened to jinx song.(No animation for this one tho)

Get Jinxed was the character presentation to the game. The video was such a hit that Riot started to think to take it to another level. Thanks to that, 8 years later we got Arcane.

So I’m sure it’s been suggested, but Riots first virtual band “Pentakill” has 3 full albums with a music video for the song “Mortal Reminder” and a full streamed concert for the third album Lost Chapter which is one of my favorite metal albums. You should definitely check it out.

My older sister was forced into being a mother figure for me and my little sis when she was 15. She never really got to be a teenager. She loved me like a son. Resented me for the same reason. I loved her like a mother. Resented her for the same reason. We only fought once. Years later. But she punched me. And then the horror on her face was indescribable. Relatable. I don't think I ever loved her as much as I did in that heated moment. We finally forgave each other. So I love what you talked about. About the older sister having to be perfect. (Oh, a footnote: I actually didn't like Imagine Dragons either despite loving Arcane until I saw this video and saw the song in a new light.)

Just a reminder: Game Jinx and Arcane Jinx are completely different from each other. Even their stories are very different.

She was never a generic Harley Quinn clone, how dare you?!?!? Modern Harley Quinn ripped HER off if anything, Jinx had the blue and pink mix FIRST!Also, she was more influenced by Gollum, Heath Ledger`s Joker and Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange which you can even tell by how Sarah Anne Williams voices her, alternating between a raspy Gollum/Heath Ledger voice and an excitable, crazy, evil, apathetic,easily bored valleygirl voice complete with the vernacular("Like", "totally","nerds","boooorrrrrriiiinnnggg",""lame-os",fun","awesome" etc.)

Yeah League of Legends tends to update their original character models to keep them more up to date with most modern game character models after a couple years so Jinx looks different and so many other champions look different now than when they were first released in the game.

Yesss love this type of content, if you’re exploring League lore/content I recommend watching the other music vids by League. They’re all well done.

League of legends has a huge story behind it and arcane only covered a drop in the barrel of it, If u wanted to watch other cinimatics tales of runeterra is great.

Arcane not only covered a drop in the barrel, its the quality of a fanfiction compared to the real deal. At least in the Piltover plot.

The human mind; we want to help, want to improve, and better ourselves... But humans just have such an impressive talent for destruction, that sometimes destroying feels better than actual peace. Let's hope it's not a fallacy, that we (as a species) contain enough logic to sustain our existence for the future.

If you haven't watched Arcane, that slap in the trailer never happened in the Arcane series. There was a more understandable but also sort of out of line reason why Vi slapped Powder or Jinx if you will. When I watched the trailer first, I thought Vi was kind of an a-hole, but when I watched the Arcane series, it all makes sense now, and I don't look at Vi as a person with anger issues or anything like that. That situation was understandable but also pretty messed up. How could Vi act at that point. If you haven't seen it, then you gotta get on that if you haven't and want to Oh also wheres my respect. I loved watching your reactions. I enjoyed the ending conversation. Thank you for another reaction video :)

Jinx from Get Jinx would be Jinx in real time, which stems from all of her past. That was the character that was presented as champion in the game and is the original. Most of the players love Jinx for being Jinx no Powder

One of the only reactors I've seen that also is tired of Imagine Dragons. The music video was well done, but yeah Imagine Dragons is played out and over rated.
