I started fearing for our country when I finally realized my church was pushing lies that the Republicans were selling early this century. I left organized religion and started voting straight tickets...not Republican. I voted based on watching what they actually said and did in DC. Every country in Western Europe has national news media and newspapers that give the facts to the public. There are also many TV discussions about important matters. The US has RW media like Fox and Newsmax, giving out falsified news and conspiracy theories on a national scale. Until that is changed the US will continue on it´s path to confusion and public disinformation.

I was a contractor at Microsoft (the MS part) at the time and the offices for the online side of the joint network venture were down the hall from my office. Many people in my building were in the cafeteria watching the first hours of the new network that day.

Wow. This is one of the most powerful reports / monologues I've seen - ever. Lawrence absolutely hits it out of the park! The MSM deserves this type of critical analysis and mirror held up to its image. In it's arrogance and lack of humility it cannot see or refuses to see it's own complicity in the coming authoritarian storm. Lawrence again delivers a monologue full of humanity, wisdom, and truth telling. He is the absolute best. It is utterly shocking when an honourable, intelligent and successful President's age is considered more damning than his opponent's sociopathy, stupidity, dictatorship plans and criminality. As a UK citizen I'm disgusted by how so many Republicans are going along with this madness and keeping quiet. In general the UK despises Trump and his vile behaviour. I agree. I expected that at least one of them would come to his aid. I guess we now know just exactly what values each can privately exhibit. $31 m seems to be the cut off. Because of its bluntness, I love when Lawrence uses this characterization of Trump. However, no matter how enjoyable it is to hear, Trump is not stupid. Sadly, this blazing human danger to democracy has enough feral intelligence and charisma to influence, manipulate, and bamboozle a significant percentage of the voting electorate.

I completely agree too. I usually watch Lawrence's show every night, but I was distracted on this night and of course it would be a night I shouldn't have missed so I am catching up on it now. I know I will watch this more than once too.

Dump needs to be covered in summary, no more of his tirades or "press conferences" where he parades in front of cameras, just note what he said and note the lies and untruths and be done with giving him free attention, which is all Dump wants.

I just read about a 21 yr old in California that is thinking about voting for Trump because women abortion rights are being stripped while Biden is in office. Robert, I believe if we get Trump out of the election process in 2024, whether by incarceration, or election defeat, we can begin to heal. He spews hate and division, his words will be irrelevant once he has lost. Sure, there will be those still in Congress trying to incite the rage, but without their leader, they to will lose their place. I've no doubt there will be another wanna be hate spewing candidate like Trump come along and try to prolong our agony...But copycats don't do well and millions of MAGA fans will have to buy new T-shirts.
