My late father was working in the Grand Opera House, Belfast, Northern Ireland as a stage hand and met Stan & Oliver when they appeared there in 1952... I always remember my dad telling me how down to earth and friendly they were towards everyone... Especially babe Hardy. God bless them both... Legends of comedy.

Stan Laurel, in his twilight years, was grateful and amazed that Laurel & Hardy's popularity had lasted so long. That was in 1965, at this writing more than 50 years ago. Wherever they are, I hope they know how beloved they were, and still are, in the hearts of their fans.

As a young child I remember watching Stan & Ollie on TV especially when I regularly visited my Nan and Grandad in Bedworth (UK). Such happy childhood memories of halcyon days and wholesome Grandparents who enjoyed their gardening and talking to the birds. I almost thought Stan and Ollie were my Grandparents' friends. Those days are over and unfortunately so too are the two best comics that I have ever witnessed. I hope the 'Lot of fun' continues in heaven. Please save me a seat.

Initially i thought Oliver Hardy's grave was very understated considering what he brought to the entertainment world, but then the camera zoomed in on the lovely plaque on the wall. Stan Laurel's grave is in a truly beautiful setting. They were both geniuses of comedy, never equaled let alone bettered. Certainly will never see the likes of them again. I think it was nice to see the 2 comedy greats are laid to rest a relatively short distance from each other. Thank you for taking the time to do the video, very respectively done.
