Laurel & Hardy are great for running gags. I can remember my father saying, "Why DON'T you do SOMEthing to HELP me?" Thank you for reading my comment. "Goodbye-EE! Goodbye-EE!" And, remember: "I don't like frassasass!"

I still watch them too. I used to watch them with my grandfather when I was a child so I love watching them for the laughs and memories of time spent with my grandfather who has since passed on.

Funny as I’ve gotten older the more I laugh at them. I remember seeing their films as a youngster but never laughed like I do now.

Stan Laurel did make a last joke. he often spoke with actor and comedian Dick van Dyke one of the conversations was about Stan's imminent death Stan said ''if you cry at my funeral then I'll never speak to you again!''

Rip Stan and Oliver ❤ a very talented duo indeed. The pair stayed in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland on their tour in 1953 at the Royal Marine hotel and also visited cobh Co. Cork. Nice video LT well done 👍

I am an Iranian and I love these two artists, Laurel and Hardy

I would have loved to have spoken to Stan. My party piece as a kid was singing Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, complete with high and low notes, and the banging of the mallet.

Funny that I've been singing this song/ humming that song for the past 2 years when I'm feeling blue and when I sing it, it take me back when I was a young lass and the days when life is simple and warm

One of my boyhood comic heroes (though before my time) still got their boxset, always a pick me up when I watch any Laurel and Hardy short film - just great slapstick comedy! RIP Stan...

Nice little video. Always loved Laurel and Hardy. Went to his home in Ulverston in Lancashire in 2000, nice part of the world. There is as a L & H museum there. Great to see house from Perfect Day 1929.

I thought it was quite incredible that that house from Perfect Day still survives. Many landmarks in the US do not have the privilege of longevity IMO. I adored Laurel & Hardy and that piano scene will forever be engrained in me. My parents always seemed to let my sister and I view their films for which I was forever grateful.

Fond memories of watching laurel and hardy with my grandad thanks so much LT can’t wait for part 2 Oliver hardy 💙❤️

Good Video… My family and I met with Mr. Laurel in May 1961. It’s a long story but we were invited to his Santa Monica apartment. I was young at the time. He was in a wheelchair but a very nice man. My dad was a lifelong fan of “Laurel & Hardy”. I still watch them now.

This is a fantastic program you have done. With out doubt the greatest double act ever. I can see you have covered Stanley Jefferson’s life in California. In Bishop Auckland, Co Durham. We’re Stan living for a while. He was baptised. The house he lived in the Church he was baptised it is just across the road a bit further up. There is a pub named after Stan. The Stanley Jefferson. A Wetherspoons. I was in not to long ago when I went up to see my sister. On my way back home I called in the Stanley Jefferson for my dinner. Laurel and Hardy still as good today. Ageless comedy

If i could sit down and have dinner with three people i grew up watching it would be Bruce Lee, Laurel & Hardy. Stan Laurel was an absolute genius, said very little, got the biggest laughs and will always be remembered with his pal Hardy as the greatest double act ever. R.I.P Stanley & Oliver 🤣😂🤣

I lived around the corner in 2nd and Montana! My mum cleaned for them…she was from Lancashire too. We used skateboard in the alley behind the building…great memories!

Love Stanley Laurel, and Oliver as well. I also worked in the medical field and can say that the Heart doesn't have seizures!
