Vivian Leigh has two oscars for Gone with The Wind and Who's Afriad of Virgina Woof she is one of my favorite actress and only she could play Scarlet O Hara nobody else. Gone with The Wind is one of my all time favorite movies. I loved Scarlet bc she was strong willed and passioinate and Vivian Leigh is amazing actress.

Just watched THAT HAMILTON WOMAN. You could understand why she got GWTW. Also saw some of her personal items in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. I have read about this house in her bios. Exciting to actually see it! WONDERFUL it is protected. Loved the few bird songs you could hear (and your accent). Great work. (The song at the end it is bit intrusive).

I am never quite sure who was more beautiful, Vivien or Liz. It's a close call. I think that Vivien had softer, more delicate features, whereas Liz Taylor's beauty was full-on, and of course her violet eyes perhaps gave her a slight edge over Vivien. Both extremely stunning women.

In the novel, Scarlett is described as not being beautiful, but men seldom realized that. Liz's GWTW was Raintree County. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job as Scarlett than Vivien: she was Scarlett!!!!!Like Elizabeth, but she was not on the same level as Vivien as an actress. Incidentally, Vivien played Cleopatra on film too in a film based on Shaw's Caesar and Cleopatra. Both ladies beautiful and talented, but, sadly, troubled.
