As a latter comment, Laura astonished even herself with those final notes. That look of shock by a performer doing something outside their own body. The power of the divine. Such is the glorious gift of Laura Bretan. The greatest opera Soprano I've ever heard. And even more beautiful than her angelic gift.

This has been years ago now and I still rate it as the most fabulous audition I’ve ever seen. Absolutely incredible even to this day.

Best female opera singer I've ever heard. Case closed. She sings with a beauty and a passion unequaled by any Soprano since time began. Such a beautiful young woman and delicate soul. As fine an audition as any talent show will ever have. SIMPLY UNREAL.

This is so powerful that every time I watch this I think to myself that whatever she is singing, whatever the lyrics are, that if shes asking for something, if its a request, then how could you say no? I still can't get over the emotion in her face along with the voice. I feel as if its a crime to not pay her every time I listen to this. Lol

I am a huge opera fan. Simon Estes is my favorite singer. But as long as we have talented young musicians like her, opera will endure. She is fantastic!!!!

I Saw this about a week after it came out and every time I've come back to it I have the same response, she opened her mouth out came that voice and I cried. And I am still crying. That was 6 years ago and now she is traveling around the world sharing the gift God gave her all without the benefit of any formal training. Not many people know that she learned to sing this way on youtube and from her mom and grandpa who would wait for her to come home from school and she would sing for him. Laura is still that shy, humble young lady until she hears her music and then that voice comes out. I think of the movie The Fifth Element when the divine being is basically out on her feet and then the time came to do what she was made to do and she, like Laura, opened her mouth and out came that gift with all it's power and glory that God gave her. Sing on young lady, we are all still listening.

It is hard to believe that great big voice comes out of little young lady. Exquisite vocal control across her range, uses trills and "rolled 'r's", completely understands the story she's singing and gesticulates to enhance the pathos she relates to her audience. She has complete command of her audience as proven by her ovation, not only is the audience standing, but her judges too. It will be interesting to see her now, and in 10 years from now, though I do believe that there will be of and about her a best use of her time between now and moving forward. We will all have a lot to see.

She is a phenomenon. I like very much her Nella Fantasia, Adagio... and many of her concerts such as: the one from Craiova, the one from Oradea etc.

I have long ago lost count on the number of times I have come back to re-watch this performance. I followed her concerts in Europe and loved every thing she sang, but I still keep coming back to this and her other AGT performances. She calms me in some way I don't understand, but I'm 77 and nearing the light at the end of the tunnel, I want my family to play her music when I'm done here and boxed up for what comes next. Thank you Laura.

One further comment, the only singer of a similar age I've seen with that kind of talent, is the marvelous Beau Dermott. Dermott should have won BGT, and Bretan should have captured AGT. Both have a gift and a presence that only a handful of artists can compare to. If anyone is trying to bash her they are clueless and envious to the depths of their soul. Simply an astonishing young woman.

I watch this whenever I feel low. I have been watching her grow. God bless her.

I think I have watched this a million times. And, every time I do... I fall in love all over again. She is really very very special.

The passion with which she sings plus her voice equals heaven......

Fantastic! There is something special in all her videos on YT. The worst in this video is the guy in the flat cap doing his obnoxious best to make it all about him. The hug from father at the end is so sweet, looks like a fine family.

Is it just me or did she look shocked when she hit that big note at the end? Outstanding performance!
