People complained they couldn't understand those songs because the bars flew over their head. He tried the direct approach in Meet the Grahams that once again, people asked for. They said it was boring and he went too far, completely disregarding that Kendrick asked Drake nicely to keep it friendly. Everyone knows what Drake said in Family Matters. So then Kendrick gave people a club banger, which again, they asked for. Now people are saying he's milking it and they're tired of the song. He showed that he can do what Drake does, but be better at it. Folks underestimated him and that's WTF they get. Like some people said, Drake stans went up for him when he beat Meek Mill with Back to Back. He played that song a lot too, but nobody was complaining. They're just mad Kendrick showed them he really is LIKE THAT. Plus, fans wanted to see a video for Not Like Us. Again, he gave people what they asked for.
