The soundtrack for Later Alligator, my collaboration with game developers Pillowfight and SmallBu Animation Studio. This is the first full large-scale game soundtrack I've been able to work on in quite some time, and the team was really creative with their needs and requests. This is 20 songs of jazz, blues, imitation ancient recordings and some completely random surprises. I really got to work my range and use neat equipment and samples for genres that don't get enough love in game soundtracks. And there are so many cute reptiles, too!
Later Alligator tells the story of Pat the alligator, a (mostly) harmless and (probably) innocent reptile at the center of a conspiracy that could bring down the biggest, scariest family in Alligator New York City: his own! Explore the city, meet the Family, and try to save Pat before the clock runs out.
Alligator New York City comes to life with the classic hand drawn animation style of SmallBu Animation, featuring densely animated areas to explore, 30 goofy minigames, and over 100 alligator residents to investigate. With multiple endings and a fully-animated cartoon finale, Later Alligator is a funny urban adventure you can play again and again.

the first slide puzzle wasnt that bad. and you know, i think it was pretty mean of the developers to give me that much confidence before killing me in one hit

Yeah sorry, I'm awful at sliding puzzles so I had to skip. Then I came here because I loved the music.

"It was based off the genre klezmer!" -2 Mello replying to a comment wanting to know the genre of Later Alligator (Main Theme) now since THAT was klezmer, it'd still probably be klezmer in this song but with a bit of vintage or whatever
