@@jagdishprajapati5357 Weird. This interaction began with me stumbling upon your original post and being like, "Why is this guy bringing up 9/11 on a video about the passing of the last survivor of the USS Arizona? Also did this guy forget that a few wars actually took place in the massive time span from 1945 to 2001? The term "interwar period" usually refers to the years between 1918 and 1939. I've never before heard it used to describe anything post-WW2."

My then 37 yr. old, great uncle, Navy Chief Edward Gaudet, was on the USS Tennessee, moored alongside the USS Arizona on Dec. 7th,1941! He & eight Navy Chiefs from the "Arizona," were at 7:00 am. Mass on Ford Island, when the attack started at 7:55 a.m.! So, those Chief's lives may have been saved, because of this! Like Lou Conter, my great uncle was later commissioned, served during the Korean War & retired after 30 yrs.in 1953! R.I.P.! Lou & Ed!
