Your progression as a driver has been fantastic to watch. I hope to see you do more drifting and autox. I'm hoping you're going turbo and not supercharger, but I'm guessing you're doing supercharger. Either way, can't wait to see the upgrade and more content. Keep up the great work.

Watched a vid from a year ago, glad to see you using self steer, big improvement, did the angle kit help with that?

Most definitely! Smaller wheels up front also helped since it’s much easier for the rack to move 🙌

If it’s your first events I’d recommend go out on stock wheels and tires, keep the car loose while you learn then add wheels later. Ofc do as you wish but don’t feel pressure that you need them right away, the car will drift best NA with oem wheels all around believe it or not. This sessions setup is Front: 17x8 +35 RPFs w/ 215 300TW tire & 30mm spacer Rear: OEM wheel w/ 215 300TW tire & 25mm spacer

just oem Torsen, think it could be mostly to do with car setup, the suspension and tire pressures I run are pretty exact to how I want them and that’s typically on the looser side of things. I’d try to put more psi in the rear or figure out suspension wise what might be gripping you up too much

Just curious, did you do any mods for oil starvation? I am thinking of drifting my stock toyota 86 stock, stock tires, etc. I plan on a lot of down time to let the oil cool, etc. Do you think I should get a oil baffle pan or oil cooler starting out? 2nd gear grassroots speeds btw, no 3rd gear.

My advice I give typically is go for it in stock form, you will be spinning a lot initially and more than likely not putting down full runs hot lapping which is where an oil cooler comes in handy, but until then you won’t really “need” one, I’d alternatively would advise to get a mod that helps you read temps so you know when you’ve crossed that threshold of needing one, but initially it’s not necessary. I’ve never done any oil starvation mods, but if you’re in the new Gen it might be a good idea, seems to be a lot of issues with the fa24 with oil starvation more so than the fa20. Hope this helps! Feel free to dm me on Instagram if you have anymore questions! ✌️

@@ryevdee6064 Thank you very much for the informative reply! I figured that it wouldn't be an issue to start as you mentioned the issues but always great to hear it confirmed from another twins owner. Cheers!

Depends on the course/track; osw skid pad is 2nd for most people, but the oval is 3rd and most road courses you probably would need to go beyond 2nd to link it. 👍
