Lars Andersen: Learn Archery Fast!

Спорт

It's easy to learn dynamic archery, this video shows it can be learned in a hours.
There is no "real" archery today, just what people choose to do.
I've made this video because many have thought it's harder or impossible to learn, more "advanced" archery than modern static target plate archery.
My experience is that it is actually easier to learn dynamic archery on moving target.
But the important thing is to choose the type of archery that you think is most suitable for you.
I have trained many people and it has taken a long time and been difficult, but few years ago I began to change everything.
I started training in a way so it was completely instinctive, so everything is done without thinking but completely corporeal.
I have gradually experimented with beginners, to find the fastest and funniest way to learn archery.
The two participate in the video are chosen because they are both very talented, but everyone can learn archery fast.
Equipment:
These bows are a special edition of Faco Storm.
Falco has made them for me for beginners training, they are between 20 and 30 pounds
(if they are more powerful, beginners get broken fingers)
It is easier to hit with a stronger bow, but better to learn with a weak bow.
Comments:
I remove all rud comments
And in this video I certainly also remove sexistic comments
Finally I remove negative comments from people who pretend to be archery experts without being this.
Sincerely
Lars Andersen

I am a traditional archery instructor for kids and adults. I am always fascinated when I see a video of yours and I finally found out what it is. It's what you say about "real" archery. "There is no "real" archery today, just what people choose to do." I'd like to tell this to everyone who wants to learn archery from me. I had too many discussions with beginners, intermediate and expert archers from all sorts of archery fields about "the one and only real archery" and I always felt there is none. I think you are the living proof for this. Limiting something to a certain vaguely defined thing also means limiting ones own horizon and therefore mind. And thus prohibiting personal growth. This is at least what I think happens when one isn't able to think further.

Now buy some arrows and screw around in your yard for a few years maby even buy an actual bow I've gone this and I can shoot at about 1arrow per 2seconds I've been doing for about 3 months or so

That Bow is a toy id give to my lil sister. While its amaising how accurate they can shoot its only trick archery. I want to see how he does the same with a real bow with at least 45 lbs drawweight (which is for beginners). I do not think that those bows they use have even 30. Its a toy bow which is perfect for these trickshots but not for real archery.

So many are complaining for a tutorial. But I think he already showed it in the video. Get a partner to toss up targets. No anchor point, no shelf, no string nock, just draw and shot, super quick. Don't think, don't concentrate, react. Lars figured this out from books and stone carvings. This is not field Olympic archery! And I don't think this is trick shooting, this is something else. For more advance, move and shoot- no no, move while shooting. Just do it, and it will become reactive like instinct. I got into this a year ago, because of Lars. And I just barely realized what Lars implied in this video, it's reactive like instinct. Like when you practice martial arts, it's not enough to do a kata, you need to spar. You won't always get a chance to plant and straight punch a stationary target, but from sparring you learn to redirect your punch when your target moves. The same applies here, move while shooting. Think less, react. He literally said people with zero experience can learn within hours. Of course some basic instruction is needed, we did see it in video. Just got to make cardboard Frisbee.

That's a good perspective to train out of imagination and be the school yourself. You are a perfect archer and I'm happy I ran across your channel because I was not sure what kind of archery I will start with...But now I know. Thank you for sharing your art. Target practice on only a dull static board is a killer to your imagination. Dynamic archery will be my thing. Where can I get such a bow? I would buy the sarter bow and a 50 pound bow. I'm an autodidact....don't like studies so I`m used to learn and develop what is needed by myself. If this archery would be promoted it will surely get a lot of participants. Thanks again.

He’s clearly a good teacher, having a lot of faith in his students shooting a target four feet from his head.

I have been trying to learn archery like this for a while now. I have been using ancient Mongolian techniques, and a few Arabic techniques. When I first started, I remember trying to hit my target and watching the arrow ricochet off the side, and into a nearby pond.

Hey Lars. I've been loving your new content. Its truly amazing. I'm looking at getting A Falco bow to start practising this kind of on the move trick shot style. What modifications on the bow should I get? And what are your top tips for someone to learn this

You have to shoot like the Eastlings, with York thumb.

I am nigdy fan of your philosophy Lars and have just started instinctive archery using Turkish bow. It's a bit heavy poundage, but I will get lighter one for better result. Carry on Lars and don't get intimidated by stupid people!
