You know, this is kinda aswesome :) I have my ways of holding the arrow while loading, but this way is a new one - with supporting with the middle finger that way. AND now I like being a Lazy Slacker even more ^^ AND AAAND I love the sound the loading arrow - like a pump action shotgun, haha, really cool.

there is also a flip technic with arrows girped to the bow like you show up with the first technic, eliminating the shuffle. ALso please start the technic from quiver,... nobody rides the stepps with arrow in bow hand.

Very cool! I've got a 50# bow and a 40# bow. I'm thinking I may need a 30# bow to start out practicing this method since a 50# bow is about all I can do with the traditional method of shooting. What do you recommend for #'s for starting out? What # bow are you using?

Hi Charlie, I have been trying out the first knocking technique you showed (two fingers), I assume it can only work on lighter arrows? Its harder on my fingers with heavier arrows I felt, or is it also just a matter of getting used to it?

    What means heavier arrows?

  • @asclepius8538

@@CharliesRunningArcherylike with higher grain arrows. It hurts my two fingers trying to hold and balance this 32 inch and 438 grain piece of arrow if that make sense.

Understand. It's about practice in one hand and on the other hand there really can be a limitation about the weight. I shoot only those light arrows so I havent tried it with something bigger.
