One of the most badass things Ive ever seen

The only thing that would have made it better was another Larry Holmes patented flying drop-kick. I still think, apart from his jab, it was one of Larry's best moves 😆😅🤣😂

Holmes is such a boss!

@@theinformationbomber7102 He was winning up until being knocked out. The referee was incompetent and let Tommy take too much damage. Mercer was also a fricking jerk and kept on hitting Tommy when he didn't need to.

@@theinformationbomber7102 Absolute bullshit. Tommy was stuck in the ropes, not responding, and his arms weren't even up to protect himself. Any noble fighter would've recognised that and stopped punching him. Mercer continued out of a lack of empathy and basic sportsmanship. This becomes all the more apparent when Mercer said afterwards that it was personal for him. Mercer was a horrible example of a champion who disregarded the wellbeing of his opponent. He could've caused serious and long-lasting damage to Tommy, yet he just didn't care about that.

This is up there with Ali’s RitJ post fight interview and the “I broke my back” Tyson interview

@@kelvinsullivan9237 Tommy was caught in the ropes and Mercer wouldn't stop hitting him even when it was obvious Tommy was beaten. Mercer and the incompetent referee could've resulted in Tommy taking unnecessary damage that could've led to brain damage.
