Nathaniel Davis she has lupus, and is probably on some strong steroid like prednisone (she even has what they call "moon face" which is a common side effect). one of the many side effects that come with that is being very loopy

Or equally as likely, she's trying to present herself the best way [she thinks] she can- as proper, classy, educated/intelligent, a wordsmith, and in control. She was a childhood celeb, raised to believe that image is everything. Her autoimmune disease causes her great strain, both mentally and physically. This affects her brain function, including memory, sentence formation/articulation, basic communication skills, and more. Like her body, her brain is exhausted.

I noticed that too. That sparkle that she used to have in her eyes and the charm she used to exude is gone. She is still beautiful though.

@2:21 when Lark says "In remove of my first marriage", clearly she is having difficulty with the use of proper vocabulary words, [she might have meant to refer to the end of first her marriage...] word disassociation, which can often happen in schizophrenia patients. My stepfather's family is brilliant...I watched his educated intelligent sister spiral into the madness of schizophrenia when I was pre-teen...by the time I graduated college decades ago, her conversations were rambling and disjointed. I never corrected her just visited with her and gave her love til the end of her days. Some of her children abandoned her because they could not deal with it.

This is sat no matter how you wanna see it. I don't think she has Bipolar at all. Shit I have it and without or without the medication you will still have moments but I don't think they look like this. I don't think it's drugs or anything like that. I'm no Dr. but I think at some point something happened and she didn't get any help to deal with whatever took place. I think she needs a friend, someone to trust. I have a feeling that she doesn't have anyone in her circle that she can be open and honest with. IMHO this interview shouldn't have been aired and her mother needs to stop giving the press information about her daughter. If her mother feels like she needs help then do it but everything doesn't need to be told to everyone. I'm sure she "Lark" won't be reading my comment but if for reason she does please contact me so that I can give my Dr's information. She has been in the business for over 50 years so it's not about the money or to sell your story, She has a passion to help others. I'm not saying that you have a mental issues but I honestly think you need someone that you can trust to talk to.

TO ALL THE EXPERTS HERE ON KZread: Lark Voorhies *_has already been diagnosed by Medical Professionals (Board Certified Psychiatrists) with Manic Bipolar Disorder_*. She also has Lupus. Now is she on multiple medication for both illnesses or just getting worse from her Manic Bipolar Disorder who knows. Bipolar involves mood swings; episodes of Mania ranging from depressive lows to manic highs. One of the main episodes is (what Lark is doing) *_suddenly speaking extremely quickly for long periods of time, but *_rarely able to follow a train of thought through to its logical conclusion. Instead, they tend to jump from one subject to another in rapid-fire mode, displaying thought patterns that make little sense to others around them_*. AND THEY BECOME PARANOID. They also have difficulty focusing on one thing and will tend to over-analyze their thoughts. Thoughts and speech jump seemingly at random from one unrelated topic to another, which increases distractibility.

+TheBrownIsland As someone who is married to a man with Bi-polar disorder, I can tell you that all you say is 100% correct. My husband can be moody at times, with or without his meds. He can be short tempered, but not violent. His mind races like a motor boat. He can start a conversation and cease that convo and start on something else directly after that. Then there are times when he will mention something only to cut the convo short and not say anything at all for a few moments. He is also very forgetful. He has lost his keys every other day. Never know where anything is and believes someone is watching him when we go to dinner. If he did drugs or drank he would be 120 times worse. First, I thought that perhaps he has ADHD which is what I have. I am distracted easily. and he exhibits other traits that remind me of myself, but after studying his behavior and researching the disorder, yes, he has BPD.

Good morning Lark, another Friday we'll I remember a time back when I was a kid, we use to go to Eastern Market. That place, the people and all the stuff too do, man I miss it! Go to a place Lark that as a kid you miss!

It's shouldn't be Entertainment Tonight but Gossip Fest Tonight.

Hope her mom continues to fight for her. Clearly she is being taken advantage of!

Just play the interview and let us discern wheather she's "odd" or not. You obviously want to sway your viewers... But why?

I had to watch it twice. The first time didn’t make sense but when I used my understand if mental health, it made sense

I love Lark, the only genuine person from SBTB!

All i can think is poor baby if she ever wants to tell what happened to her face i would be interested to know

I’m here after watching the Dr Oz interview and after watching this segment, it must have really hurt Lark to watch that friends forever skit on Jimmy Fallon. Poor Lark.

I was a big fan of saved by the bell and Lark was my favorite it's sad to see her in this state and ET makes me mad when they know that she is not well but still want to interview her, because some of the things she was saying was not making sense they are complete trash! but I pray that things will look up for her..

You can tell she is trying really really hard to keep herself together here.

You can look in her face and see that she suffers from mental illness but any who she was a good actress back than, God bless her ♥️

Dr. Oz interview explains this interview very well. I sure hope Lark continues to get well.

Lark has cried a lot over the years and that's what brings mental distress. One of those crying moments was real bad and she snapped. It's hard to come back from that, she needs tons of happiness in her life to reverse those effects.

Why is she trying to sound so smart yet she thinking of what to say

wow it breaks my heart to see her in this state. she was my favorite female character on saved by the Bell. I wonder what trigger all this. I mean she is human and people go through things. but she has a story that needs to be told and it can help someone else that is going through the same. Just like the girl Maia campbell same diagnosis. but Maia is not in denial and lark need to accept and admit that she was born that way and they have help for people like that

I was waiting for her to blurt out something about the starship enterprise and captain kurt.

Naturally Dope Sometimes the drugs make it worst.

Screen wasn't there either at the Jimmy Fallon show,no one mentioned him

Why don't we all pray that this beautiful woman with potential be given the help she so desperately needs.
