Can this please be made into a children’s book series!? I have a special 7 year old who would love to hear about how Lil copes with different overwhelming situations!

What a beautiful story. There's a young girl in our church who has an emotional support cat! The kitty goes with her in a special backpack and when things are 'a bit much' she holds the cat and it purrs until she feels better. I've never met such a calm mellow cat.

What a brilliant idea! I'm impressed you managed to organise something so huge, the organising must have been immense! I love Lil and Bonnie. My nephew is autistic and even some of the SEN workers at his school don't seem to grasp that when he melts down or stops listening it's because it's overwhelming for him and with his black and white thinking he often doesn't understand that his way is not the *only* way to do things. He's being referred for more support and his 1 tp 1 helper isn't quite enough at the moment. He's the sweetest, cheekiest future paleontologist and I adore him.

Absolutely can relate to lil and her support bee. Having autism i have a service dog who goes with me everywhere and my friends understand when it gets to be a bit too much for me. Absolutely love this page. Also the colorful cover. This idea of having it mailed to different artists is absolutely genius. I can't wait to follow along and hope it gets to some of my other favorite KZread artists.

Awww. What a lovely story to go with the adorable art work! I like how you use pencils to add more dimension to the relatively flat colours of the markers. The texture you created for the grass using just the tips of the brushes looks amazing. I love that the doggies who don't quite make the cut for guide dog training still get such a very special job to do simply being someone's best friend. I'm glad Bonnie has been a treasured addition to your family and can help your son. I miss the presence of furry friends in my life (long time renter) but I love that so many people on the internet share pictures and stories about their fluffy companions and I can still feel some of the joy that they bring.

My son doesn't have ASD, but what he has (Angelman Syndrome) shares a lot of the same traits and is often misdiagnosed as Autism.

Maybe when it done, it should get sent to moriah Elizabeth! Yuh and on display! Yuh

I have been very tempted by the simtap markers too, they look good for sure! Thanks for review. I wasn’t interested in the dual tip pens, definitely not as much as the simptap, and it’s nice hearing confirmation that I should only go for the simptap. ❤ I can see your personal style already for sure, and your signature subjects like the art tools and mushrooms!

I love this idea! I already watch Paula and Ashley Monet too it seems like a natural progression. I love that style, I never thought I 'd be nodding my head along while someone explains that a honeybee is comforting a mushroom at a picnic but it was a great story that roped me in. I LOVE that style it seems to suit you very well I can't wait to see what else you come up with in the future.

Yay it's started. I love Arrtx markers. I have the 2 sets of white barrel ones that were popular a year ago and I love that they are so easy to use. They just work from the first moment. Plus being so cheap for a large colour range is a bonus. I have poscas too but I think they'll need some maintenance as the tips will be dry. I love the cover. It's so bright and cheerful. I love the story you created with your characters and how it relates to real life emotions. 🙂 It's so relatable ❤ Awesome work and a fab start to the collab.

When you were talking through Lil and Bonnie’s story, I felt so much nostalgia to back when I was a kid and I had the hungry catapillar or the magic possum and those types of classic Aussie books read to me 🥰 I feel so contently happy now 🥰

I use "Con-Tact" paper to cover my books. It works better than tape. LOVE your channel!

Hi, Di! I love this concept, and your contribution with the story touched deep chords for me, and I think for a lot of us! Liltle Lil and Bonnie the Bee is a story we all need to hear! It's so easy for un-knowing folk to mock someone older than three years who still has a 'security blanket' in some form or another, and yet I think most of us do, though we may not see it in quite that light. (I stll have a little teddy bear, given to me by a close friend when I was nineteen, who goes with me whenever I have to be away from home overnight or longer! I'm not sure how it began, but 54 years later, the tradition remains, and he is still the most omportant bear in my collection.) Difficult bit! I've watched all nine videos to date, and it troubles me that EIGHT of the nine are in the US, all NINE are female, and except for yours and Shana's, there's a similarity in style. Please don't misunderstand me, they're all good as stand-alones, but I'm hoping that Shana's and the choice of Chuck (the next one) will break that style pattern. But please, is there anything you can do about the geography (especially) and to encourage a better miix of the sexes? It's a bit like other collabs between USA and Europe, and the same European countries appear each time! Yes there are a good number of other artists on YT who live in many of the other European countries, as well as in many other places - eg the UK, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South America, Asia and India!!! (Edited for typing errors!)
