This rug is so intricate, it makes me think someone spent a lot of time designing and creating it. I'm happy for their sake that you put so much effort into restoring and caring for them when many people just throw them away.

I was a janitor for years and I love a good cleaning. What I appreciate is how you put away the tool you are currently not using and you don’t have power cables laying across the carpet. Not only are you excellent at what you are doing but you are careful. Bravo Yes I also fall asleep watching on my iPad propped on my side table. 😍

What a gorgeous rug! I agree with others that the yellow color is probably transient dye, and perhaps, years of cigarette smoke/nicotine. In the end, it looked like new again! Great work, Jakub!

I knew the second this rug was first unrolled...The ornate patterns mixed with lots of interwoven whites and light tans the results would be outstanding. A beautiful rug and excellent refurbishment and cleaning. Many more years of service for this antique wool.

🖐😄 Hi all and this will be another interesting rug to see 👀Jakub clean! I know he will do his very best as he always do! Today we have cold 🥶 weather and it has snowed here and now it's raining too from minus degrees to plus degrees in a few hours! The weather is for sure very strange! Take care of yourself, big hugs ❤🥰🤗 from me 👱‍♀️and Trollet🐱. Ps. I'm doing laundry now in our laundry room in the cellar, and Trollet sleeps in his basket on our kitchen table so he can keep an eye on the birds 🐦 outside when he wakes up from his cat nap.

@ Yes me too and he has an old wicker 🧺 basket with soft bedding that my mother used for the white linnen sheets ( used in the bed 🛌) after mangling them in the laundry room in the mangel ( I don't know the proper word for it on English but mangle and mangled perhaps ) like they used to do before with all such items done in linnen who was washed in 95 degrees. It removed the creases in the cloth and made it shiny. I have helped my grandmother preparing the rolls for the machine and it was important to always have a roll in the mangel otherwise the top of the mangel come crashing down with a big bang. The weather is like a roller coaster, with the temperatures going up and down! It’s supposed to be kind of warm for the next couple days in my neck of the woods, then go back to being cold again. You have to wonder what went on in that home to get the rug so dirty. It's possible it was just dye running out, if it was the first wash, You do such good work bringing these abused carpets back to their splendor!

I just said the one extra slo-mo on the third scraping, was my all-time favorite! That water was such a glorious color at that point in the cleaning. It's such a small part of the whole cleaning - I enjoy it when it comes. We enjoy what we enjoy, right?! Peace and light, ruggie friend! ❤️❤️🌵🌻

While I was on YT today another carpet cleaner came up as an option to watch. I watched it and was very disappointed in the results of this person's cleaning of their carpet. Jakub, you are clearly a master with all your methodical techniques and expertise in carpet cleaning. There is no comparison in the results you get vs this other channel. Needless to say I will not be watching any other carpet cleaning videos. Yours will be the only one I watch. I truely admire your skill at carpet cleaning. Hello, ruggies! 👋👋👋 I'm so thankful I'm able to watch Jakub any time I please. I am so impatient that anyone else in the house would have to be on my viewing schedule! Will the boys be disappointed that they didn't get to see it? Are you all having chilly temps over there? I still haven't turned on my furnace for the winter. It's so late in the season now, I kind of want to see if I can go the entire winter. Lots of layers of clothing, and lots of blankets while sitting, that's how I am able to do that!! I didn't say it was easy! 😂 Yeah, I'm a little wack-a-doodle, but saving on my energy bill, that's for sure! The furnace is electric, so that bill is scary! Try an old quilter’s hack to set the dyes in fabric, in this case carpets. After you soak the carpet down, add a teaspoon or two of salt and a quarter cup of white distilled vinegar to the watering can. Nothing else. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly, then add detergents. Try this on a carpet remnant first before you try it on a rug. Hello from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin USA.

He has a professional, commercial grade dye retention agent that he uses. I grew up using that vinegar trick on my hand washable fabrics. 👍❤️❤️🌻🌵

I love videos so much! Sometines I have to watch them over again because they are so relaxing I fall asleep and wake up like "aww I missed it" two of the favorite parts of my day falling asleep to relaxing love of carpets and waking up to fantastic results.
