You really only need faith that Jesus died and saved you from your sins. Have reassured faith that He loves you, and when you admit your worldly sins to Him, have trust that He will forgive you like a lost son finally came home to his father. Remember that only He knows if you are truly sorry for all the sins you have committed. This is such a wholesome song and wholesome comment section. Yes, I am a Christian, but I wasnt always perfect, Ive committed sins and I am guilty about them. Nobody is perfect, nobody is sinless. I pray to everyone here safety, wisdom, love and humility. 😊❤️

I'm 18, quite young but I'm starting to lose way. I'm not suicidal but I feel like I'm so mediocre that I don't fit anywhere. Not religious, not academic, not sporty, can't sing nor dance, can't draw, not good at anything relatively descent for others. I still have friends but always feel alone. But every time I lay down in my bed, I still think about my future and things I want to do. I pray to a God that please "guide me somewhere I belong". Thanks for reading this. Even Paul states about not doing the things he wants to and then doing the things he doesn’t. It never was about “cleaning up your act” first. The more I walk closer to God the more I realize just how much I can’t do it on my own. The second I think I’ve got it l, I don’t got it. Even Peter denied Jesus three times after insisting he would not.

Yes, I couldn't agree more. When you're too scared of what people will say to you once they knew that unfaithful side of yours, you just have one friend that doesn't mind-that's Jesus. Because he forgives and always gives us chances to go back to Him. Only Him who cares for you that he keeps pursuing you no matter what! That's why God's love is unconditional, His spirit is always here to guide us to run back to the cross. I think this song is Paul Klein's prayer. He wanted us not to feel alone so he shared it with us through a song. Lovely!

I understand what both of you are saying, but I’d have to side with Andrew, because in this song, despite the fact that I REALLY like it, it’s sounds more like he’s using Jesus’s grace as a pass to sin. The fact that he made this song... Like personally, I wouldn’t consider it much of a “worship song”. But how raw, real, yet oddly comforting it sounds, he was able to resonate so much relatability to those who aren’t perfect but tries to do better one step at a time.

2 years ago.. I locked myself in my basement and surrounded myself in darkness. I couldn’t stop crying, I was so unhappy. I wanted to disappear, I’ve contemplated about taking my life. Somehow, I read the verses with “Blessed are the poor in spirit...” - Matthew 5:3-11” and my tears stopped. I felt this comfort in my heart. I no longer felt guilty and felt warmth inside my heart. My heart was no longer hurting. I realized, if I were so happy in this world, I wouldn’t need Jesus. But Jesus came to me because of my broken heart. He rescues sinners, he is the Lord.

i typed "i still talk to jesus" in my notes app 9 months before sitting down to write the song i was raised in church, but there are things i do now that i grew up thinking i would go to hell over "sex, drugs, and rock n' roll"... this is my confession i wanna believe that prayer works. however... i think, often times, they're answered in ways we don't expect or recognize i have a vivid memory of pulling up to church one sunday and watching this cowboy finish his cigarette before he walked in i tried to capture that same energy in these pre-choruses stained glass windows are synonymous with cathedrals and religion. talking about a stained past in the same breath felt like a humongous songwriting achievement to me i wanted the outro to sound and feel like i was playing this song alone in a sunday school room with the door slightly cracked... ...and you were listening down the hall From the Storyline of "i still talk to jesus" on Spotify

I grow up going church to church and when i was 20 i've decided that i didn't want to go on a church anymore. Then, i left my boyfriend (right to do, i wasn't even loving myself) and started going to parties, drink and all sort of things that i didn't do it until that time. But i kept going back to Jesus even if i don't put my foot on a church and recently i came back to Jesus and as always, he do not turn his back on me. So, what i mean is, never forget Jesus even if you are doing things that you think is good for you. Jesus never forget you, for sure. He is the most precious friend and love that you will ever have.

this song portrays most of the people's relationship with God but I hope that this inspires you not to settle on where you are right now in your phase as a child of God, I pray that you continuously seek Him and build a founded relationship with Him :))

I'm a Christian and I struggle about a lot of things. It's always a good thing that we talk to Jesus not just when things go wrong but it must be moment by moment. Talking to Jesus in this way changed me. It's by God's grace that we're saved through faith. Not by our works. Jesus is God's grace. I pray that our hearts will always be open to the Holy Spirit of God to lead us in the right way. Love you all❤️

I am born and raised catholic, we go to church every Sunday and pray everyday! Jesus is so forgiving and is always there for you. We all make mistakes. Remember that you are beautiful and God loves you so much. He cares about you and listens to every thing you need. I am so glad to be catholic.
