HALO jump from a Blackhawk, and the guy isn''t HALO qualified, OK. Let's go rescue a hostage in broad daylight with 2001 weapons and no night vision. And hopefully the entire Air Force TOC will be watching college basketball in the rec room during the entire op. THIS MOVIE IS IDIOTIC BEYOND MEASURE.

Not to mention they show a Blackhawk helicopter in one shot for the extraction scene mid-movie, then a Huey in the next. They have no equipment that would be used by tier-one operators, the jtac would be a CCT in the 24th STS (which is a tier-one component) , he wouldn't have to be told what to do or how to do his job, and he would be treated as if he was a part of the team. Did I also mention that he would be HALO and HAHO qualified?

So beyond ridiculous that Hollyweird thinks Tier 1 Operators would be okay with a new JTAC that by the conversation they all think is undertrained. This isn't how professional SOF Soldiers operate. I was a SOCA Radio Operator in the early 90's and our three man teams would provide commo support between forward deployed forces and USASOC or JSOC. No NCO or Officer with a long tab ever treated me this way and I was only a Basic Parachutist Commo dude. Will never pay money for this silliness.

You're not going to be doing an O2 jump out of an unpressurized helicopter, otherwise they would have already had their masks on or have passed out. Also you would already have been briefed on the mission, you wouldn't be finding out what it is on the Helo ride over lol. In reality a guy wearing only a JTAC patch (which is a Qualification) wouldn't be going out with Tier 1 Operators, it'd be a fully-trained CCT (yes with a CCT patch) - and they are bona fide badasses already after completing CCT training and are definitely able to "keep up" with Operators as providing terminal control in CAS from the very tippy-tip of the spear is what they are for. The Operators in the helo at the beginning wouldn't need to be telling at CCT jack shit that hadn't already been covered in a pre-mission briefing, the uniform sanitizing would have been done on the ground before boarding the helo, and the Operators wouldn't be worried if the CCT knew their job - the CCT would know far more about CAS than them. Not sure if the plot mentions that a CCT wasn't available for this mission for some reason and the Tier 1 guys just grabbed a JTAC from another unit 'cause they needed him, but I know it's a movie where tons of stuff that would have been covered hours or days before gets covered en route minutes before they drop the ropes, for "drama" anyway so who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂

Not even 30 seconds in and 1) no NODs and 2) Earmor headsets (which are budget communications hearing protection for $100 on Amazon) that, while have demonstrated considerable combat exposure in Ukraine, would not be used by American Tier 1 units, which this movie supposed to portray

Unpressurized cabin and then put the mask on to jump? Shouldn't they be wearing the mask the whole time and I dont believe there are any troop carrying helicopters that can fly that high for that long to ferry these guys into a drop zone and helicopter the chopper be on a radar screen. Also, sorta late to get to know the new guy on an actual mission

This movie is a Hollywood version intended for "Call of Duty" commandos...don't take it seriously, it's just eye candy. Other commentors have already posted all the inaccuracies and improbabilities so I won't. Some guy gets a call from his agent about a role in a movie and he shows up, reads the script and puts in the work...what he isn't, is a Teir-One Operator. For a Director to make a "truer representation" would take too much money, too much time and it would be not nearly exciting to watch.
