Troy aikman and Joe Buck seem bothered with Lamar’s success. Aikman went on record back in the day to talk about why Lamar Jackson based on the film was clearly a day 2 guy in the draft, and shouldn’t have even been in the first round. Pro-style QBs and pro-style announcers are a dying breed. The future is a QB who can do it all

What's crazy is that Lamar won a Heisman in a pro-style offense in college. Bobby Petrino has a very complex offense that is tailor made for the league and Lamar was tremendous as the Lead guy. It isn't like he can't run an NFL offense. It's the fact that he doesn't need to right now.

You never see Lamar at the strip club, being obnoxious and creating headlines in public that demean the franchise in any way. He truly is a role model type player who I would be proud to have associated with my organization. I have been every since he took the field at my favorite college, the University of Louisville, and he represented us well.
