Gotta give credit to the the Texans defense. Gave the Ravens so many problems. The difference was rookie Zay Flowers and Hill scoring 2 running touchdowns. He's the real deal. Stroud is a franchise quarterback! Clowney was a big addition!

The Texans' defense actually looked really good today and Stroud did fine too, but the Ravens have a great team and defense too so the Texans couldn't do much on offense. I think we will see CJ get progressively better through the season. Even though the Texans lost I'm still impressed with what they did today and they're already looking a lot better. GG Ravens

⁠@@r.m.7288 DeMeco and Stroud are a lot better than having Lovie Smith and Davis Mills. The record might not show it this year but this team has improved a lot since last season. Even if the Texans have another losing record, they have a whole new team with a new head coach.

As a ravens fan, I see alot of texans fans came back to watch these highlights again as well. The texans have improved since this game but so have the ravens. Texans have lost noah brown for the remainder of the season and on the flipside, Mark andrews is back practicing for Baltimore and might actually play saturday. This is going to be 1 helluva game.

Thx defense was good.. an they still rusty honestly.. they did well considering it’s a lot of their first time in a live game they will get better..

~ Heart Broken for JK Dobbins. Probably the last time we’ll see him in a Ravens uniform. Quite possibly in any uniform…. the way backs are “used” in todays game. • ArDarius Washington balked out today. Darby didn’t play to bad either… With the injuries to the secondary, nice to see unexpected players make plays in the secondary. Stephens also flashed with a few big hits…. barely missed a pick 6. Overall the defense was solid. I’m finally happy to see Madibuke get more snaps….. He and Clowney were in the backfield all day. Offense looked rusty and out of sync as expected.

Stroud had plenty of time to throw. There were two socks that were absolutely his fault. On the rollout he could have easily thrown the ball away because he was outside of the hash marks. That's on him. On the strip sack he stood still like a statue for way too long. If you're not going to move with the pocket then you got to get rid of it

Texans vs Ravens going to be great game. DeMeco haven't loose back to back to the same team, and Lamar playoff record are 1-3. Old Texans record against Ravens 2-11, somethings got to give on this game.

I like how Cj is improving. He’s goin thru his progressions, gettin the ball out quick to the open man, gettin better at decision making. Didn’t throw a touchdown but didn’t throw an INT either, takin care of the football with quick reads👌🏾still has a lot to improve like pocket presence but his direction is pointing up 💯📈

As a Texans fan I like what I saw from Stroud he made some good throws and was able to use his legs a bit. It’s just we have so many injuries on the O-Line that’s hard to overcome especially aganist a solid Ravens defense. Defense did some good things too John Gernard was fantastic and Will Anderson is going to be a monster if it wasn’t Lamar being Lamar escaping the pocket he would have had two or maybe three more sacks. I’m encouraged by my team it’s a learning curve but on to the next one NRG going to be rocking next week GG Ravens

Any time the Texans made a 1st down conversion in the 1st half the referees through flags on them to stop their momentum. The defense was playing very well but when the refs do what they did enough it stops any momentum for the offense and puts way too much pressure on the defense. That ghost holding call on Tunsil pretty much summed up the day for the Texans. The refs weren't going to let them win this game

Honestly Stroud looked the best out of the Rookie QB's week 1. AR the worse, primarily due to pocket presence and accuracy, though still did a fine job all things considered. Aside from that, him and Bryce looked about the same. Stroud was extending more plays and felt more cohesive. I guess we'll see as time goes on.

As a Texans fan the opportunities were there. The Red Zone efficiency has to get better along with the protection upfront. Too many penalties as well comes down to discipline. Tough environment to play in especially for a Rookie QB.

We will look unbeatable when Andrews comes back. You won't be able to guard everyone cuz Zay Flowers is the real deal.

1 huge catch and 2 big pass interferences from OBJ was huge. Zay was awesome. Bateman seemed to struggle and we really need Andrew’s back. Defense looks awesome and ready to see how we do against better competition. I think we’ll be a top 3 defense this year we’re raw. Stephen’s looks good. O line and team overall is sloppy with all the penalties but I don’t think our OL is overpowered which is good. They just need to get in sync. Stanley and dobbins injuries crush us though dobbins has potential to be our best player on offense when healthy. He’s such a game changer. Our D line has massively improved but idk about our scheme on D. Remains to be seen. Too many negative plays but I’m happy about special teams really solid game from that group. Always good to see receivers like tylan Wallace stepping up on punt coverage

Not last night

As a Texans fan, the defense can make a big leap for us this season. Greenard and Anderson played great. The secondary did a good job. We didn’t allow too many big plays. Offense Stroud was effective in the short game. We have to correct issues on the O-line, you can go empty backfield and split tight ends out wide against this defense. The receivers never had any run after the catch opportunities against a Baltimore secondary missing its best player at cb. We had zero rushing presence other than a couple 5 yarders. This was a solid test against a healthy Ravens team that went to the playoffs last year and should return there this year. Harbaugh and company need to go get Jonathan Taylor now that Dobbins is done for the year.

Texans had the hardest hitting team last year. I watched them boys put the smacking on people weekly. Y'all suck but your defense makes the game enjoyable lol.

Baltimore has two good teams to choose from. I' m in Canada and although my first loyalty is to the CFL my favoret NFL team is The Chiefs. Having two leagues to watch is a treat!

Way too many penalties in this game that stalled out drives for the Texans that we’re leading to scoring opportunities. Overall the defense played really good in the first half and shot themselves in the foot with some bad plays that extended Baltimore drives . Stroud showed good poise and made some really good plays and he didn’t throw picks . I knew Baltimore was going to be a tough assignment for them on their first regular season game but the good thing most of the mistakes they made are easily corrected with Film study . Just make a few adjustments and clean up those penalties and they will be competitive soon .

Yeah, like 5 PI calls in the first 30 seconds if the audio is anything to go by. It continues to baffle me that the NFL is a multi-billion dollar entity with nigh-unlimited resources but still can't find the time or money to QC their videos before they upload them. Mind-boggling.

That defensive line for Baltimore is a problem for Houston it is going to be a great game this Saturday divisional round both teams made it to the playoffs. It’s gonna be a good game this Saturday and hopefully the Houston Texans win.

I think this was a good first game for Stroud. Ravens defense is clearly the best hes played so far. With another good offensive limeman and good WR we can be scary good

The Cleveland Browns was the #1 defense entering the Wild Card playoffs and CJ seems to dissected their defense at will. If CJ plays against the Ravens in the divisional round, it will be completely different from his first game here. It will be fun to watch for sure!
