We have two pitties and they are wonderful little balls of cuddles, and love with a touch of clown. They are wonderful additions to families.

Pits are so great. They are big fun, and never a dull moment, unless they're sleeping.

I can't wait for you guys to experience the love this breed has to give. Mine was rescued about 3 years ago when he was 1. It took about a month or two for him really to come out of his shell and trust me. Now though this dog is by far my best bud. He's always by my side. Get ready for a pit bull to do everything they can to sleep between you guys lol!

I never thought that I would say this but Lala has grown as a person so much in just a year. I actually like her consideration of people's circumstances and empathy that she shows. Seeing her with this adorable 'lil man made my heart melt!!

I think because now in America the majority of large breed dogs are pit bulls, and therefore also the abandoned ones

Pitties are a wonderful, loyal breed. People used to leave their children with pits to “babysit” them. PEOPLE do horrible things with these dogs and give them a bad name. I would encourage you to visit shelters and volunteer to play/walk pits. You will see they are so snuggly and willing to do anything to please people. They are a very misunderstood dog. They do make up a large amount of the dogs in shelters. Don’t judge a book by its cover or what you have heard about them.

Canines are omnivores. That means they eat both meat and plants. Cats are carnivores, eat only meat.

@@user-km6op9jb4c I guarantee that if I put down 2 bowls in front of my dogs - one with meat and one with a vegan or vegetarian diet - they're going for the bowl with meat in it first. Dogs are predators. They'll eat something other than meat if they can't score a kill, but their inclination is to go after meat.

They’re true omnivores and have even evolved some enzymes that wolves don’t have to digest complex carbohydrates like bread as we domesticated them to eat human food.
