Dogs and cats are just furry people. You treat them with the same respect and kindness you would expect to be treated with and they respond. I can’t go anywhere there’s a cat or dog without them stopping by to say hi.

Celeste looks like the perfect nanny dog and big sister. Zoe and her make such an adorable duo. It's always heartwarming to see such a strong bond🐾❤️

What a heartwarming story. This is a good way to teach children how to be with animals. I think that Zoe and Celeste are going to be lifelong friends.😊❤

And sometimes it does not go well. Some will attack the pregnant woman when her smell changes. Same if their owner starts a seizure. Russian roulette. Time and again ... but they'd never showed any aggression!

@anyagetman8596 you are completely correct! I had to take in my friends bulldog when she got pregnant as the bulldog Bear started being really aggressive with her but with me (not being pregnant or ever going to be) Bear is a total love bug.

@thunderatigervideo if their ear is up against your body, just as a human can. From afar, I doubt it. It's more of a vibration so it won't carry through the air.

It's like having a guardian angel. That's why ALL dogs go to heaven. Unconditional love is very therapeutic, so having one in the family is very therapeutic. Love conquers all! 💪

This is absolutely true. Sammy my wolfdoggie was my 2 sons guardian angel. He was gentle from day 1, fiercely protective and helped them both to learn to walk. I miss him to this day 20 years after he went over the 🌈 bridge. I hope to see him again when my time is over.

This gorgeous furry family member will definitely be the bestest friend to your daughter for many years to come. Truly beautiful.

Dogs know what family is and know how to be a part of a family. Instinctive.

It's incredible how dogs seem to be able to detect a new growth within us, often BEFORE we become aware! It could be as dreadful as a tumor. Or it may be as beautiful as a baby. But somehow they know there is a new development. Dogs are usually good with babies. But when they are around for the pregnancy, their bond is even stronger.

When I was just pregnant with my son, we had not told anyone because I had miscarried a year earlier. We went to a friend's house to take photos of my nephews on her huge horse. The horse kept coming to me and putting his nose on my tummy. It seemed to be obnoxious to everyone but me. He knew I was pregnant. I told the lady that owned him that he knew a secret. She looked at me like I was nuts. I told her that he knew me well enough to know that I was different. I was pregnant. She cried because she didn't know that he would be able to tell when I only was only 5 weeks pregnant. He nudged and caressed my tummy every time I saw him, and he was very interested in our son when he saw him. He knew who he was.
